I have recently stopped taking it, and I havent gotten my period for 2 months. I am not pregnant, checked. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions what might be up? I really hate going to the gynocologist and want to avoid that if possible.
I dont know if this makes any difference my left ovary was removed 2 yrs ago.....

I had a similar problem. I was on the pill for 14 years, and after 3 months off of it I still didn't get my period. Since I was trying to get pregnant (and obviously not ovulating) I went to the gyn to see what was wrong. She diagnosed me with PCOS.

I've heard that it can take a few months to get your period back after being on the pill, and I'm not sure if having only one ovary makes a difference. I'd give it another month, then make an appointment to see your gyn. She might not have to do a full exam - mine just drew some blood.

I stopped taking the depo shot almost three years ago now, and I still haven't had a period. Never had one the whole 5 years I took the shot either. I had spotting occasionally when it got close to time for a new shot, but that was about it. Occasionally I may spot a little now, but usually, it's not even enough to do anything more than leave a little discoloration on the TP. I've never been pregnant either, and occasionally I sometimes get worried that maybe all these missed periods can't possibly be healthy, but my docotr has reassured me several times that my body will get back to normal eventually, it just has to work all that out of my system. You may have to go to your doctor if it keeps going this way for you. After I hit the 14 month mark, I just gave up and went, because I couldn't deal with the worry anymore. I felt better afterwards, because at least some of my worries were releaved and I knew there wasn't anything majorly wrong with me, so that was a huge weight lifted from my shoulders. Good luck.
