I am asking for my baby sitter, she has a baby that is 4 months old and she is nursing. She is taking a low dose b.c. due to nursing. Anyways. If she takes it properly does it work the same, is it as effective? I have never been on any low dose so I was not too sure. The reason I ask is because she hasn't had her period for 2 months. And I thought she might be prego because she is more tired then usual and hungry all the time. I don't know though. She took a test and it said no...but I know that tests don't always work because I had my share of negitaves when I was. So what are your thoughts on this? I know that after you have the baby you are your most fertile. So any answers would be great. Thank you all.

On about September 13th I preformed oral on someone. Both me and him are virgins, and we were the first to experience this (no past sexual partners). The thing is about a day afterwards, I felt a tingling feeling on my lip and I immediately got a read bad cold sore on there. It eventually went away like in a week, and everything was fine. I never had itching on or near my vagina, and the guy I was with is fine as well.

Is there any chance of my getting genital herpes from him? I am just so worried. Please help! If we haven't ever been sexually active amongst anyone else, I should be okay, right?

Monday, I gotta go in for a colposcopy (cervical biopsy possibley) and I was thinking about talking to my doctor about birth control at this time, too. Could he do the exam for the birth control (I've already had a pap smear) the same day?

my mom never took me to get a pap smear because i wasnt having sex. though when i did have sex i was 21 im now 26 and have never had one. im scared to death to go so i make appointments then back out. any advice or help on the matter. ive also been trying to get pregnant for 2 years now with no sucess is it due to not having one doen before?

They recently put my girlfriend on this pill and it's really messing with her periods like constant bleeding and cramping. I was just wondering if it's the pill or maybe something worse. She doesn't have a cyst or anything like that.

I always have my periods on time and regular.. This time I was eleven days late, with five days spotting, and now light bleeding... I received negative results from the home pregnacy tests.. Should I still go to the doct and take a test, even though I'm lightly bleeding now?

How should I deal with 'pectus excavatum'? It really makes me self concious, of course. I hardly ever buy anything tighter than a loose T-shirt or sweatshirts...any ideas for being less worried about it?

I've been on 25 mcg (0.25 mg) for almost two weeks. I do feel better (the depression has lifted and I have more energy), but my appetite has not decreased, but it has not increased, either. Will appetite decrease occur the longer I am on it? This is a secondary benefit I would like to kick in because I need to lose 20 or 30 pounds after the Christmas holidays.

My friend is worried about this. She is 35 years old and has not tried to conceive yet. And is it also true that it would be better for her to get a younger guy, because the younger man has younger genes, therefore, there's a little chance for birth defects. I have been on it for 4 and a half years. I am not planning on coming off it for a long while yet, but I was just wondering if there are any major side effects of doing so, and whether or not they are stronger when you have been on the pill for longer?.
