Will anesthesia make my hair fall out? Im getting surgery in 6 weeks. When I was 6 I had a hernia surgery and I had anesthesia and about 2 weeks later all my hair fell out.. was that just because I was young? or will my hair fall out again?

Okay well I'm in a massive situation. I'm currently going to college in FL and my mom mails me my birthcontrol down when I need it and it was suppose to come today and it didn't and I'm suppose to start my new pack tomorrow? What can I do?? I called the pharmacy and they said the couldnt' do anything and I went to an urgent care center on the island where I live and they coudln't do anything either. I'm completely stressing out with this because I'm very good about taking my birth control on time at the same time every day I've been on it for over 2 years and have never missed a day. I was also wondering if I could take a different kind just for 3 days or until my pack comes in. My friend takes Ovcon and she has an extra trial pack that she said she could give me, I take Trinessa which is a generic verision of Orthotricyclen? What should I do..I know not have sex, and I won't...

Is it possible to get heartburn at 13? At random times, I'll feel a tight feeling from my chest to lower neck. It feels as if there's food stuck or something. What could it be? It happens a few times a week. I'm not too overweight or unhealthy. 13, 5'3, and 125.

P.S.-Sometimes I'll get a sharp pain whenever I breathe in for a few seconds. What could that be?

Is it a bad sign if you don't get your period for a long time?
i haven't had my period in about 5 months. i've been getting my period for 3 1/2 years now (i'm only 15), and for the last year or so, its been late. i miss it for like 2 months, then 3, and now its 5. is there something wrong with me?
-i'm still a virgion
-haven't lost or gained weight
-i'm not deppressed
-not taking any pills (birth controll, etc)
-no unusual hair growth
-sometimes have trouble sleeping
-when it does come, i have heavy-extremely heavy cycles
-have not yet been checked out, and am a little scared to.

Ok, might sound weird but I feel like I look prettier around the days that I ovulate. I also notice that more guys look at me and talk to me (probably more the pheromones than how I look.) Do any of you ladies feel like you look better during ovulation also? And does anyone know why this happens (like what hormone, vitamin is responsible so I can BUY SOME!!) Any info is appreciated!

if you look down near your groin area while sitting down, you know
where the hair begins around your pelvic area, the whole hairy patch? (sorry i am really being genuine it sounds graphic)

OK so if i look down there are my female parts behind the hairy part? (the fallopian tubes, uterus, etc).

I ask because i am having pain around the outside part of the hair, like pulled muscles on both sides

and i had light brown spotting last nite; one week before my
period is due (after sex though).

I am wondering if this is early preggy signs

Ok, I have not had regular periods since I was 14. The first year or two I started they were pretty regular, then they got spaced farther apart. Now they are almost non existant, except when I was on the Slim Fast shakes to lose weight. I was on that diet twice and both times I was on a regular monthly schedule. Once I stopped drinking Slim fast, my periods pretty much stopped. So... could I have some sort of deficiency that I am getting in Slim Fast, so my periods are regular only while I am taking Slim Fast? I thought maybe my iron was so low my body wasn't able to produce more blood to replace that I lost in my period. But I'm really not sure. I think there must be something in Slim Fast that triggers my periods. Any thoughts on this?

I am 23 weeks pregnant, i*ve always had pains on my sides "the round ligament" pains throughout my whole pregnancy, But the past couple nights i keep waking up withh really bad pains in the middle and lower belly, not the same pains as the round ligaments. they usually go away but i had them for a whhole 24 hours yesterday then they went away and i had them for about 4 hours again and then just went away, but it keeps coming back if i sit wrong or when i walk. its worst when i walk.. Today i felt like i was going to pass out and get sick, i didnt even want to move, or if i could even move. could these be signs of early contractions, premature birth.. or what?!? i really dont want to go to the ER and sit there for 6 hours for them to tell me there is nothing wrong,

well, i have been having this yellow-pink (more yellow) smelly (not too smelly) discharge, lately it has been getting more pink and sometimes white! does this mean im about to get my period or does it mean i have it...OR does it mean i still have a few weeks or monhs until i get my period???

treadmill at home and I have a membership at a gym but it is so hard to get on the machine and just do it. If I excercised one hour a day for 3 days a week and ate better(meat-salad-water and maybe a few carbs here and there) would this work? thanks

Is it normal to bleed after the pap test?
It was my first time ,everyone said it might be uncomfortable but it was 1. uncomfortable and 2.painful !
and I had some bleeding after the test.
My doctor had some difficulty finding the cervix and he had to do it twice.
Is this all normal?

iam am not sure because right now i am 14 and still wear a 32A (i started developing at 8) . i heard that your adult bra size is similar to your moms , and my mom is a 36A so would that be considered big or small ? ( i can't tell because my mom doesn't live with us anymore ) .

ok so i have been on the pill for less than a month, i started taking it a week ago ( this is the second time i have been on the pill, i was on alesse last year but stopped taking it )

my legs are KILLING me, they feel like those pains you get during puberty, 'growing pains' - could this have anything to do with the pill? my mom told me that sometimes people have difficulty handling different types of pills

My dr put me on a drug called reductil after my weight got dangerously high through illness . i lost justover 16 lbs in the first week! though a good bit of that will have been excess fluid i was retaining. has anyone else lost so much so quickly? how soon will it slow to a more regular amount?
