I am 23 weeks pregnant, i*ve always had pains on my sides "the round ligament" pains throughout my whole pregnancy, But the past couple nights i keep waking up withh really bad pains in the middle and lower belly, not the same pains as the round ligaments. they usually go away but i had them for a whhole 24 hours yesterday then they went away and i had them for about 4 hours again and then just went away, but it keeps coming back if i sit wrong or when i walk. its worst when i walk.. Today i felt like i was going to pass out and get sick, i didnt even want to move, or if i could even move. could these be signs of early contractions, premature birth.. or what?!? i really dont want to go to the ER and sit there for 6 hours for them to tell me there is nothing wrong,

This brings back memories. I was in and out of the hospital for monitoring when I was 25 weeks pregnant. Considering you are 23 weeks weeks and these pains are significant to you, i would call the OB. You would not have to sit in the ER, the OB would tell you to go to Labor and Delivery to be monitored (no waiting you just walk right in) They'll hook you up to a monitor to see the baby's heartbeat and watch you for for a few hours. IT's best to go and find out nothing is wrong than not go and find something went wrong but you could have prevented it. Good luck.

Doesn't sound right.

You should go see a doctor. You shouldn't have to go to the ER... just make an appointment with your obstetrician or family doctor. If you currently don't have a doctor.... GET ONE! Pre-natal care is one of the most important things when you are pregnant! To both you and your baby. If these pains are getting more painfula dn more consistent.... you should NOT dismiss them. Better safe than sorry.

If you can hold out until Monday call your doctor first thing in the morning to see if they can squeeze you in for an appointment. And you should lay on your left side and put a pillow between your legs. Amd elevate your legs when in a sitting position.

I think when it comes to being pregnant we are all so different and carry so different the safest thing to do is call your Dr. he/she knows you better then anyone on yahoo. You can call now if you are scared and nervous which makes things worse he/she is on call let them know what is going on.
Try and relax and not get stressed I know that is easy for me to say
Call as soon as you can talk to their nurse let them know what is going on
