Well you should see a GYN as soon as you become sexually active or turn 18. I would prefer my daughter to see one at the age of 16 if (by the grace of God) she is not sexually active. There is a shot out now for HPV that it is very important you get...
This shot is to help prevent you from devloping cancer caused from HPV. You MUST see a GYN before you have sex no matter what > They are not there to judge you just to make sure you stay healty.

Do you mean an OB/GYN? It is best right after you start your first period. Just to check out everything and to get a 'baseline' exam. That means that any time you have another exam, they have something to look back on to see what is normal for you. Very important to have your first exam. There, you can discuss any questions you have about your period, etc.

i dont know, but im not going til im 21 so that if they mess me up, i can make them pay. i wouldnt suggest going at a young age like say 15, because it's tramatizing. do you know what they do to you there? it's humiliating.
