Alright squats will do wonders for your bum, and thighs. There is also an exercise called the fire hydrant, and well you get on all fours and life one leg to the side. I would do 3 sets of 20 to start on each leg, then start all over again in the same position lifting your leg straight up. same amount of reps. Trust me it works, running is also really good!!

Laying on your side, knees bent at 90 degree angle, lift leg toward ceiling, 8 lifts 8 reps, repeat on other side... you'll feel it
