Ok, might sound weird but I feel like I look prettier around the days that I ovulate. I also notice that more guys look at me and talk to me (probably more the pheromones than how I look.) Do any of you ladies feel like you look better during ovulation also? And does anyone know why this happens (like what hormone, vitamin is responsible so I can BUY SOME!!) Any info is appreciated!

This has a VERY scientific explanation!!!
You are able to get pregnant the days you ovulate, these are the days you are most fertile.
You also 'feel' sexier, because your body is 'ready' to concieve!
They have studies showing women tend to show more skin while they are ovulating.
It wouldn't surprise me if women's skin also has that 'glow' more and they are more flirtatious than usual.
It all makes perfect sense and is about furthering the human race!
and what the guy below me typed is very true,
studies conducted have shown women are more attracted to the "manly man' fertile stud types when they are ovulating and when they are not, are more attracted to the non-threatening, almost feminine, nurturing type..
it's actually all very amusing...

Hello there, yes it's true we are more beautiful ladies during the time of our ovulation..not only the pheramones but the little added extra hormonal boost..we get the 'glow' like pregnant women do. Our complexion looks better and our mood and aura's are much more magnetic. It's all because the release of more estorgen. Have you ever noticed that a pregnant woman's skin is so seemless and glowing, pretty? Same thing with you..you lucky girl..embrace it and appreciate while you can...sadly like me one day you'll be 40 and it will somewhat diminish.

Raging hormones, pheromones and endorphins, swollen breasts, bright eyes, good skin tone and you feel happy and confident.
Pheromones have no smell but men and women are affected by them and you are producing more at this time of the month.
My sex drive which is very high normally goes through the roof, some of the best days of the month

Ok, I have no idea if this is related...so excuse my ramblings, but I one read somewhere that women like "rougher, manly" looking men when they are ovulating because biologically they want to have strong children, blah, blah, blah...but when they are not ovulating they are attracted to softer "less masculine" men, who will more likely care for them, treat them like the princesses that they are =). Sorry, that might have been too random...
I'm sure you look pretty all the time, and I hope you find someone to appreciate you =).

It's your estrogen. Estrogen makes you feel sexy and pretty. Your period actually makes you physically look better as well. Your cheeks flush a little, your lips plump, and they get redder. This makes you look prettier, which makes you feel prettier, making you ready for sex. (When it comes down to it). Your period most of the time makes you a little horny too, because that's your most fertile time of the month.
*National Geographic did a study and aired it a while back about that.. sometimes there's re run's of it, it was very interesting. And they mention the "rough, manly" vs. "gentle, efeminent" men factor as well..

I watched an entire coach on T.V. approximately this like 2 weeks in the past. curiously that is authentic because of the fact they have extra estrogen of their bodies around ovulation so it makes them have extra helpful epidermis and such. additionally extra estrogen will improve the tone of their voices slightly which supposedly is extra appealing to maximum adult men... i don't comprehend yet they did all styles of study on it.

During ovulation you have more hormones circulating in your body, which makes you more amorous than usual. That is probably what men pick up on!

i think it may be your attitude during that time of the month. sure your hormones are active & they pep you up! maybe you become more confident & it shows. also your boobs can get a bit swollen so that may be catching eyes haha but hey i dont experience this so lucky you! :D

Yeah, I feel sexier and my husband seems to want me EVEN more than usual. I never thought about buying that stuff.. I think you can buy spray on pheremones.. i'm gonna have to look into it myself!!!
