Same here - for about a week before too! Take as much rest as you can - it's your body's way of telling you to slow down. Eat well and take supplements are also good ways of alleviating the tiredness. Someone will also suggest excercise, no doubt, but I'm far too lazy for all that.

This is very normal for most women and you are not alone as you will see from the answers. Hormones going up and down and blood loss makes anyone tired. Go to doctor and have a blood test to make sure you are not annemic/diabetic (low sugars do this too). It sounds like just our usual monthly curse of being a woman but best get checked out.
Take a good healthy balanced diet, vit b zinc oil of primrose and emaga 3 also I find a really good one is eating lots of bannanas they are a rich source of good vitamin.

Try doing some light exercise such as swimming when your on mate. It one helps towards any pain but also helps to keep you alert.
Diet is an important factor so include foods rich in Vit C to strengthen your blood vessel walls. Iron to minimise Tiredness. Or buy yourself some Vit C tablets and iron tablets. Start taking them now and continue to take them until you feel your incontrol of your body. Vit C also gives you the added bonus of less likely to get a cold.
I usually suffer with a cold and (tiredness due to periods) more than 6 times a year. However i started taking Zinc and Vit C tablets beginning of this year and "touch wood" ive not even had ONE cold this year!!!!

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.
In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/Wjm0q

You are so tired because you become anemic from the loss of period blood. I don't like to take iron supplements, so I drink Red raspberry leaf tea, dandelion tea with mint(to give it a better tast) and eat raisins, high in iron.
