Monday, I gotta go in for a colposcopy (cervical biopsy possibley) and I was thinking about talking to my doctor about birth control at this time, too. Could he do the exam for the birth control (I've already had a pap smear) the same day?

Before anyone starts jumping to conclusions that I'm having sex and that's why I'm undergoing the colposcopy, I'm not. I had one rude person to message me and send me this "Yes, the doctor can do both examinations at the same time. You seem to young though to be undergoing those exams. It just shows that you are sexually active. Sometimes, they are the costs of the pleasure we prematurely enjoy." So, if your going to message me, feel free to, but don't jump to conclusions.

Yes. You may as well do it while you are there, that Dr. would handle BC. I myself have never had an exam for BC. I just told my Dr. I wanted it. Save yourself a trip, ask while your there

Yes you can ask for birth control whenever you want to. You should have asked for it when you were having your Pap. The reason your having a Colposcopy is because you had Abnormal Pap Test.

Why not? You can use the appointment in any way you wish; that's what you pay the doctor for.
