I actually experience cramps similar to what I get right before I start my period for one day during ovulation. It's not painful at all, actually less noticiable than the cramps I get for my period. But I don't think most women can tell when they are ovulating, most feel nothing!!

Painful...no...a little tenderness, it can happen. I just went in for my pap. I have had the same soreness on bothsides the same time for months. The doc said something about fluid being the tubes or something. It can be normal. But go get checked to make sure.

it can be depending on how sensible you are. Personally, I feel a sharp little pain by were my ovaries are. It really is not something to worry about unless the pain is too much .

Only if you have something wrong with your ovaries. You may cramp a little, but it shouldn't be eschruchiating to where you're doubled over in pain.

It can be if you have ovarian cysts. They can be taken care of with hormone replacement. Your gynecologist can help.
