Do it like this:

Monday: 7.30 pm
Tuesday: 12:30 noon (your time)

Then keep taking it at 12:30 noon while you're in the US. When you go to Germany, 12:30 noon US time is 7:30 there.

Since there's only 7 hours between, you're not 'skipping' a day, but your stomach might feel a little funny, so take it with food.

Taking birth control is not dependent on the clock. It is dependent on a 24hr or once per day cycle. It is not required , however it is recommended, that you take it about the same time every day

You may want to start taking it before you go to sleep, or when you get up in the morning to keep a decent schedule until you are acclimated to the new time zone. Taking it an few hours different won't affect you very much at all, more increase your risk of pregnancy.

Your last day here take it at the normal time and your 1st day in Germany take it at the same hour in local (German) time. A difference of 5 hours in dosing has no effect on the efficacy of birth control. Have a nice trip and Happy Holidays.

You can change the time you take the pill anytime, really. Just be sure to use a back up method of birth control for a few days.

I went to Fiji from the US and this is what I did: just figure out what the time change is over in Germany and compare that to when you take your pill in the US. It worked fine for me.

I think that you should consult with your doctor to be on the safe side.
