OK, I've had the IUD for eight months and have been on Paxil for about three months. I'm having some of the following CRAZY side effects, wondering if I was the only one:

- Loss of Appetite : Feel hungry, yet no food sounds good and have to force myself to eat. I stared at an ice cream sandwhich the other night wanting to eat it, but couldn't!

- Crazy Dreams: I've always had really realistic dreams but lately it seems to be exacerbated by the medication... I keep dreaming about the end of the world!!! Maybe I should just stop watching the History Channel at night...

- Extreme "willingness" for ummm... nocturnal activities??? -- Alright, I'll say it, I'm horny ALL THE TIME! I try not to be... try not to think about it... but my hormones seem to be ALL crazy...

I just started on the pill, and am in day 24 of the placebo pills. i have not had my period yet. I was wondering when I should start my second pack? The day AFTER I take my last placebo pill? or the first day that I get my period? Thanks

I've been without services for almost 7years now, due to lack of funds, but I know that it is time for a regular check-up. Where can I find help? Also, I have looked for reasonably priced service providers but I couldn't afford it. Now, I am simply asking for help concerning my health and my well-being as a young minority woman.

I am 25 years old and have been on birth control since I was 17. I have never taken any breaks or time off from the pill. I was wondering if and when I do decide to have a baby...will it take me a long time to conceive. Most of my people say being on the pill for a long time could keep you from getting pregnant when you’re ready to conceive. Help?

I use a NuvaRing and supposed to get my period exactly at the time me and my husband going to Virgin Islands! Could I take the NuvaRing out two days later then I'm supposed to? And what would be the consequences of that? And when would I insert it back? The day I would normally do or 7 days after I actually took it out?

I am not pregnant, first of all but for the past couple of days I've been hungry a lot, like and hour or two after I've eaten a healthy meal.
I also get shaky and nervous, my stomach makes horrible noises too.

Before and after i eat my stomache hurts. I always feel like im about to throw up. It feels very upset at all times. Theres no chance im pregnant so you can rule that one out! Also, i get terrible terrible cramps too...Whta's this all about? Other than a bug...Any ideas?

My last 2 periods (Sept. 11 & Oct. 9) have been much lighter, shorter, and brighter in colour then any previous. In the past weeks I’ve been experiencing abdominal pain, similar to menstruation pains, accompanied by sharp shooting pains up the side up into my ribcage. (Other symptoms include headache and slight nausea) I’ve had 2 blood test (Sept. 13 & Sept. 20) , both negative for pregnancy. My Dr. ordered an ultrasound (appt. set for 3 wks from now) and took more blood this morning so that he can run more tests.

I’m waiting it out, but in the meantime, curious if anyone has gone through the same thing and what the outcome was.

The doctors do not have a clue what this is and have not suggested it could be this, but I cannot think of anything else. Has anyone else had this? the pain is on my right hand side, just below my ribs and somewhat central.

For the past couple of days-ive been finding more discharge on my underwear-and lots of times-i feel it-like a period-but only its clearish and kind of waterty. And it sort of has a foul odor. Could this be an infection? or is it normal???
