I have been on Ortho Tricyclen for about 10 years. No other form of birth control, but I'm in a situation that if I did get pregant would be OK (been married for 5 years). If you smoke though, DEFINITELY use another form of birth control.

I was on the pill and used nothing else while i was on it. It was sufficiently effective for ME. However I must also add that i had very severe side effects which i was not warned of by my gynae which included mood swings, slow liver and kidney function and high levels of Uric Acid in the blood (which id not controlled could lead to Gout in the future). A friend of mine too used the pill only but also had side effects including mood swings and trombosis. The best way is a good condom and withdrawal my my standards.

I recently got on the pill, about 2 months ago. I am using Trinessa, substitute for Ortho-Tri-Cyclen. And no, my boyfriend and I don't use any other form of birth control.

iwas on orthro tri-cyclen for about 3 years and then i got pregnant and now have a 2 year old and no we didnt use any other form of bc

I'm on Cerazette that's all I take so far no problems been on it for about 7 monthes
