Therma care heat pads for menstrual cramps. You can find them at any drug store or walmart, kmart, target ect. generally in the pain reliever aisle. They are these really thin pads that have sticky backing, you put them on the inside of your undies, sticky side to undies, against your body on your lower stomach area, they heat up when the package is opened and last for 8 hours. The heat relaxes the muscles that create the cramps.
They work wonders, they are absolutely the very best thing I have ever used. I get very bad cramps, the Dr. gave me prescription pain killers but they just knocked me out, which kinda sucks. The heat pads work better then any pain killer I have taken.

Get the book "Enter the Zone" by Barry Sears, Ph.D., and start on the diet now. It will help control the cause of the cramps. Definitely do the in-between meal snacks. I use the Zone bars (available in most stores here in the western USA) myself.

Exercise helps eliminate the uterine cramps - and this book helps explain why, but you may get leg or other muscle cramps if you are experiencing a blood sugar imbalance due to hormone (insulin) imbalance. Puberty can cause such a hormone imbalance.

you would be wanting to speak on your wide-unfold practitioner approximately it. There are quite a few categories of pills on the industry and a few artwork greater advantageous for some women than others. you will could attempt a pair in the previous you hit on the ideal one for you. I went on a monophasic pill at sixteen and characteristic had no gruesome edge outcomes interior the some years i've got been taking it. My sessions are thoroughly predictable, very easy and PMS-unfastened. I did earnings some weight interior the 1st couple of years, yet i became a prior due bloomer and extremely skinny as quickly as I went on it, so i do no longer characteristic it to the pill, purely maturing. some are truthfully marketed to help shrink zits, which you are going to be attracted to a type of (Ortho-Tri-Cyclen is one... i attempted it rather quickly, yet did no longer like the hormone ranges changing weekly and went decrease back to my monophasic pill.) in the adventure that your sessions are rather undesirable, it would desire to be purely the undertaking for you, yet purely you and your wide-unfold practitioner can rather come to a determination that.

Take aleve the day you start your period! take 2 pills every 8 hours, thats what doctors give you for cramps! mine were so bad they made me pass out once, they had me take aleve the day i started my period for the first few days and it worked like a charm!! you have to take it BEFORE the cramps start but if you take it before they start you wont feel them hardly at all if you feel anything at all!

Maybe you should go on birth control...it helps with all that...

I would just be sure to drink lots of water and to take something like Midol....maybe wear one of those Thermacare heat patches on your lower stomach.

Good luck on your dance show.
