Well, to begin with, my parents are getting a divorce and on the first day of High School (A few months ago) I threw up because of a Migraine.

Anyway, I sometimes feel nauseas and was wondering if this could be caused by the events that are happening right now?

I have a dear friend whom I care very much for, but has a certain aspect of herself that I cannot stand; She always date men older than her. And when i mean "old", I mean REALLY OLD, like... in their 30's and such. She recently broke up with one of her boyfriend, who is 36 years olf, thank the lords, but I'm afraid she'll do it again. Her parents are divorced and I keep thinking she's "attracted" of older men because she doesn't have a father figure in her life. She has a dad, but her dad is an alcoholic and quite abusive, or so she says to me. I personally met her father and he seems nice... So I guess he's abusive to her in secret? I don't know, but is there a coined term for attraction of older people? And if there is, what's it called? Can it be treated/cured?

I have read that hormone based birth control (most pills, patches and rings) can increase the risk of blood clots, primarily in the legs and in some cases in the brain, leading to strokes. Are there any ways of decreasing this risk without dropping the pills altogether? Any foods/lifestyles to use or avoid??

My fiance has been having major problems with his back. He has had increased lower back pain since he has joined the Army. Well, he went in for X-rays of his back and previously, what they thought was an extra vertibrae, turned out to be a calcium build up. That's not all, they took a side view X-Ray and it showed that he has no lumbar curvature in his spine at all! What normal people have is a slightly curved spine when looking at a side view, his is as flat as a carpender's dream. He wants to know if there is a medical term for this condition, what the risks are, and what the possible (if any) fixes are. He has never had any back surgery. Somebody please help!

Kaeden is 3 and gets so frusterated at his new stuttering that he cries. His tubes have been clogged or something before so he had to have them cleaned out or pushed back down (I'm not sure on the details but I know he had problems with them once.) Anyway, he yells when he talks, stutters, and says "huh?" or "what". He confuses words to (we say "stop that" and he thinks we said "step back" or something similar.) Could his stuttering be because of his tubes?

Hi, I'm 15 years old and I have noticed that lately my hands have been shaking a lot. When I'm at school, writing or something I shake so much that my handwriting gets really untidy. I'm embarrassed about it as when I think about shaking, I think about old people. I'm also worried, does anyone know why I could be shaking so badly? thanks

i've been wearing spectacles for more than 3years. now i'm 20 years old. i only wear spectacles when i want to read what is written by my lecturers in the lecture hall. other than that, i don't wear it. i can do my activities very well with or without the spectacles. just that what makes me interested in wearing contact lenses is that my friend told me, her power for both eyes decreases after she wears contact lenses for more than a year.now she's wearing spectacles. is it worth for me to try wearing contact lenses? if yes, what type of contact lenses suits me???

This sounds like a stupid questions, I know, but I don't understand why I (or anyone else for that matter) smokes. It tastes bad, it makes me stink, and it's bad for my health. I think I like it because it gives me a few minutes peace. People allow smokers time out to take care of their habit. It's also a social thing. I get invited outside to smoke and visit. Yes, I do have the cravings but have not been a lifetime smoker. I know I need to quit. I'm 40, overweight, suffer from depression, and have high cholesterol in additon to being a smoker. I just can't for the life of me figure out WHY I continue with this bad habit when I KNOW it's killing me.

I have a habit of cursing way too much when I get pissed and one of my friends said that if I swore again she'll wash my mouth out. I laughed it off and when I slipped up again she came back with a bar of Ivory and told my friend to hold me. She plugged my nose and scraped the bar across my tongue and teeth; it tasted NASTY.

Is there any health concers I need to worry about other than it tasting bad?

Is there a movement by the media to try to scare us all to death?
MRSA, man eating bacteria, brain eating amoeba, TB, Bird Flu,
Most if all never amount to anything.
Is this some kind of Liberal brainwashing or is it a means of selling their product.
