An enlarged lymph node typically means that your body is fighting off an infection, particularly if you've recently had a cold. After a few days it should return to normal.

If it is painful, continues to get larger, or does not seem to be getting smaller within a week or so I would see a doctor just to be on the safe side.

This is part of the immune system and it is normal for it to become inflammed if you are sick with a cold, sore throat, flu or virus or really anything...If you are ill and not getting better, see your health care provider.

Please see a Dr. :(
I don't want to alarm you, but this can be caused by something serious and you need to be checked out.
