Well he went to the doctor today and I want to know why I should be scared?Is there anything to be afraid of?

Not really. Tonsil removal is done as an outpatient procedure nowadays. Your brother will have the surgery done in the morning and be home in the afternoon. He will have a sore throat and be quite cranky for a few days and everyone will dote on him and give him all the attention. However, in less than a week they'll quit telling you to do everything for him and things will go back to normal.

Getting your tonsils taken out is a normal procedure- there's ususally nothing to be afraid of. You may be scared simply because it's your five-year-old brother that's having the surgery

Not really its pretty simple and routine and its better for him to get it done at this young age rather than older, its worse when your older. I was 4 when i got them taken out and it was fine. It hurt for about a week but i was happy i got to eat jello, soup and ice cream all day for a week dont worry it will be fine.

not really, this is a pretty simple procedure, done in thousands of doctor's offices across the country every day of the year practically, stop worrying, does your brother no good, and certainly can harm you, so chill.

Absolutely nothing to be worried about. My little cousins got theirs taken out when they were even younger. Not a big deal at all.

dont worry about it. he'll be fine. it is WAY better for him to have them out now than later. I had mine out at 19 and it sucked! he probably wont really remember it later on. plus he gets lots of ice cream and attention.

no u should be afraid very afraid wooooooooooo nah just jokin its pretty simple they just cut your tonsles out then give you ice cream
