everytime i get sick. (about this time of year and lasts for weeks its always a sore throat and headaches and really really tired) i get swollen glands on my chin. i was told that this is just a sign of my body fighting off an infection. well i was sick all last week and was better for a few days but am feeling bad again. and i have had 1swollen gland for about 2weeks. what is wrong?

i havent gone to the dr yet b/c i am not sick sick i just feel really bad. last yr my dr said that it was just viral and i would just have to wait it out (i was also tested for mono last yr but i didnt have it). same with the year before (that yr i felt like i was dying literally i was so sick) and my mom thinks it is my bad allergies.

what is wrong?? i dont want to get really sick like previous yrs. thanks.

and i have to go to school tomorrow... i have a big test. how can i get through the day and actually do well on the test. (i have it last period... ugh!)

I lay down at 9 or 10 pm, but I toss and turn until 1 or 2 am. I don't eat a big meal before bed, I don't have the TV/lights/music on, everything is quiet. I won't drink milk (ew). I think my mind just doesn't want to shut off. How can I "calm" myself down? It's very frustrating :/

i have sat with my legs crossed probably starting when i was around seven now i am fourty. i cross them every time i sit down, eventually after a long priod of crossing my top leg gets numb. i have heard that crossing your legs can cause vein problems, back problems, and hip problems, i dont have any at all, but is this true that it is bad? do you cross your legs also? and are you aware it might be bad?

I'm 18 years old. Male.

Back in May, I weighed 156. It's now September. I now weigh 149 1/2. What happened? My body still looks the same. But the scale says I've lost a lot of weight.

My mom says I'm looking skinnier in the waist, chest, and shoulders. I haven't been eating lunch at school. I wait until after school to eat.

I skip breakfast in the morning and I don't eat until around 10am. I usually buy pop tarts at school for Brunch.

I haven't eaten a full meal for 2 days, but I want something light but something to satisfy my stomach what should I eat?

Is it serious if I have a bad headache and stiff neck?
I can barely stand up.

Yea, well I don't know if it is dangerous, but I have a very bad habit of chewing on headphone wires. Like if I'm sitting here listening to music or something, I'll chew all the way to the actual wire... how do I stop? Lol....it's weird, but addicting =D

I have a cold & it was my first class of the semester. I figured if I missed the first class now it would have given the teacher the wrong impression and I would have missed out on key information about the class. It's not like I couldn't sit through class. Plus what if I was sick later on in the semester really bad ( I mean a cold is nothing) I would have already used my sick time (we are only allowed two classes and then our grade drops). I could tell the girl next to me was kinda aggrevated with me and she kept moving her desk. I would have sat in the back of the classroom but I had trouble finding where the room was to do so.

Should I drop this class because I showed up with a cold? Should I move my seat next time away from this classmate?

I dont smoke. I dont know what it is. Some times its dry, sometimes I cough up stuff. Ive had it for over a week now and my throat is really starting to hurt. But nothing else is really bothering me. Some times i kindda wheeze too. Im not a big fan of medicine, but I tried cough syrup, cough drops, hot toddys and even onion tea and other teas. Now my voice is rough too. What could be causing this? How can I get rid of it? Someone said allergies, but I havent had this before and I tried benedryl but it didnt help. Ive also loaded up on vitamins too, guess I figure that might help.

....I wouldn't have thought so. But they are not an obese nation - by any means.

You gotta see it, big slabs of cheese on their bread / toast.

Oh and their bread is another storey in itself. Not the typical white / brown loaf we would be used to in the UK / USA, but some 5 Ton brick of heavy dark, seed-infested stuff that I cannot stand. I dropped the loaf once and broke my foot! -joke-

But anyway, we are not talking Kraft slices here, it is at least real cheese.

So what do you think? Can cheese be a better alternative to butter / marg?

Is that too high?
I feel over-ended in medical bills and trips to the doctor, and paying off hospital bills and MRI's and stuff.
Is this about the percentage everyone else owes or am I just "in deep"?
