okay. there is a fairly new product on the market called activia. it's a yogurt made by dannon. very good i might add. if you eat this for two weeks, they claim it will regulate your system or you get your money back.
other tips i can give you would be to stay hydrated. start your day with a glass of room temp. water with fresh lemon juice in it.
start taking some probiotics. cheap enough.
schedule more time on the toilet bowl. it may sound funny, but if you're always in a rush, you'll tense up and have less chance of eliminating.
have some coleslaw. eat some prunes.

This happened to a friend of mine, she was very secretive about what she had been doing and I'd known her for years and never had the slightest suspicion. She told me after she'd had a few drinks and I became her sounding board. She stopped taking the laxatives completely - was constipated for 4 days and everything went back to pretty much normal after that. I know everyone is different but your body will readjust to a normal rhythm if you give it time.
Eating lots of fibre and drinking plenty of water will help too.

Hey,
You need to drink at least 2 litres of water or a rehydrating drink such as Lucozade Sport (not coffee or tea etc)to flush your system. Eating dried fruits such as prunes and apricots will help the flow become normal again. Once it is just make sure you keep to the 2 litres of fluid, and eat regularly and at the same times.

Surprise, surprise. Poor you. Drink loads and loads of water as well as eating all that fruit and veg. 2 litres a day minimum. It'll take a while for your body to get used to a different regime but it'll eventually improve everything - skin, hair, wash out your kidneys etc. It'll do you good and it won't do you any harm.

Obviously if you haven't already seen the doctor then go see one. How long have u stopped missuing them for? If it's only recently then give ur body time but that long of abusing them is going to cause u problems and i'm sorry of what you'll have to go through just for the weight loss in the past. Good luck

Have you spoken to a GP or perhaps a nutritionist? You need to find somebody non-judgemental who will help you. I'm not sure myself whether or not the damage is reversible so you would have to ask a doctor. Perhaps get in touch with the eating disorders association, they may be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck.
