I ache all over, it's cold in here and I've taken Advil already. Any other suggestions. I'm not sick, just achy.

I have heard that if you take ritalen when you don't suffer from ADD then it has the opposite effect on you and makes you have a lot of energy and be able to do things very well. I have seen this on two TV programs on one she used it to stay up stauding for exams and look after a child and the other time just to get everything done in her day quickley and effectivly. Does anyone know if this accually works?

Him and his brother were playing cops and robbers. My 4 year old tackled him and his leg was in the way. His left feemer had a clean berak. He now has nails in his leg and can not put any weight on his leg. He has an option of a walker but he needs to sit as much as possible. The 3 year old is a really busy little guy. His first day home he was up wanted to use his little walker. Please help, any suggestions are great!

I have a urinary tract infection so I stopped drinking caffeine.
This morning I got the shakes and a mild headache.
I poured a half cup of coffee and drank it and I'm fine now.
Does this mean I'm addicted or just crazy?

Who do some Dr's feel the need to treat you like crap and act like they're better than you?

I went to the Dr today and everything I said he ignored and was completely rude about it. He basically told me you're saying all this is wrong but there's no proof... I thought the point of being a Dr was to listen to your patients not argue and condrict everything! He argues with me about my allergies to anti-biotics and everything now really WHY would I make that up?

All I wanted was to find oiut about getting an IUS done b/c my periods are getting so painful I'm crying and ready to pass out .. Why is it so f'ing hard for him to give me a referral?

I'm changing Dr's ... This is ridiculous

For virus, flue, allergy, needs.... Forget about Chiropractic because they want to lock you in and want you keep on coming back. Acupuncture the same, and my insurance wont take these guys anyway. But I prefer natural medicine doctor over conventional doctors who give you a quick diagnostic name and prescribe you expensive drugs for pharmaceutical company to make billions ?? and these chemical are harmful t our body?

I'm planning a day at the amusement park and want to actually enjoy myself and not be a bother to the people I'm going with, which is a slight problem when I get extremely sick on spinny, up and down rides ( I spin around in circles a few times and need to sit down, it's that bad!) Does anyone know of any good motion sickness remedies-- bracelets, pills, tablets, foods, tips, anything? Thanks a million!

I had a blood test done this morning. I needed to fill 7 tubes of blood, however, by the time I got to tube 4 the blood had started to stop coming out. So it only got filled up half way & the final 3 tubes only got a tiny amount in them. The nurse kept trying to drain a little more but nothing would come out. I'm Aneamic, my mother thinks my low iron level is the reason I didn't have enough blood, but is that the actual reason? & is it even possible to run out of blood so to speak when having blood taken?

Also, i'm not a vegetarian but I don't like to eat meat, so what are some other iron rich foods I can have instead?

So sunday night i started having really bad cramps and sorry to gross anyone out, bad diarrhea. i stayed home from school monday because my stomach ache wouldn't go away and i was still having..you know. Tuesday I threw up and stayed home. I threw up a little more that day. Stomach ache still lingering. I went to school today and almost threw up on the way to school and was not feeling good the whole day. Now the cramps are back. What do I do? I don't want to miss more school, but you can't sit through classes thinking you are going to have to rush to the bathroom. My mom is also having stomach problems. I think something is going around. :-(

Ok, so whenever I am at church in the morning with my school, I feel fine, but during the kneeling part and get so lightheaded, and I feel like I am going to pass out, I get that "butterflies" in your stomach feeling (where it feels like your stomach is dropping) and I see black dots after a while (not like big black dots, but almost as if there is a black screen door over my eyes, the kind you see when you get a head rush, except they don't go away until I sit or stand) I feel weak and my hands are cold and I always put them on my face for some reason, also I have been told I am very pale at that certain time. I take deep breathes thinking it will help, but it doesn't. And this only happens while KNEELING at church.

I am a young teen by the way.

I have also been having trouble breathing for the past few days. Please answer this. Thank you :)

I'm pretty sure I don't have diabetes, since at my last physical (which was less than a month ago), I got checked and had normal BS levels (I get checked every year).

However, my bladder's been uncontrollable today, and otherwise I feel fine. The only thing I can think of that's been different is that I had a couple of cups of coffee in the morning after going without caffeine for several weeks.

It started late afternoon.

For example Mothers always told us growing up to do up our zippers of our coats during the winter or we'll catch our death or to put something on our feet if walking barefoot on cold floors.

I've always thought a cold or the flu was passed from person to person or perhaps touching an object someone who is sick has also touched. Today I'm experiencing a head cold and I've come into contact with someone who is sick as well as gone outside with just a sweater on a chilly day and walked barefoot on cold floors. Who or what is to blame for my sickness?
