Aren't you sick and tired of not being able to move as you want, to fit in a nice outfit, not to be breathless so fast, to look in a mirror and not to like what you see?
Well, I was, and I lost 2 stones in a year about 4 years ago, and didn't put them back since.I am a nice size 10-12 now and proud of it.
Motivation comes, you have to want it really hard and to try to do your best, it will worth it in the end!

I knew I should lose weight but couldnt get motivated I did the following and have lost a stone in 2 months:

Started an attempt to lose weight with a friend (a bit if healthy competition!)

Looked at myself naked in full length mirror!

when buying clothes chose a size smaller so I would have something to work for and then really see the results with.

wow......I wish I had a magic bullet for the thing called motivation and you know what, I finally found it!

What I did was I started to focus more on what I like doing. I enjoy walking, so I invested in a 400 dollar treadmill. Now the motivation part........I shut my mind off, and just do it. Its the same as brushing your teeth, you have to do it.

When you are fighting with yourself to do something good for yourself, that indicates there may be emotional problems or issues you are not dealing with. Might be stress, low self esteem, etc. But you have to start moving in the right direction to start your road to success.

I also find when I see certain celebrity photos, those inspire me. The ones that work out, like Jessica biel, jlo, it shows that even with money, everyone has to sweat it out. :):):)

I know its hard - been there and doen that got the Tshirt etc.

Break it down into small goals and fix a date so you can focus on that. Every time you reach the goal treat yourself to a non-food item e.g. a book, make-up, a new item of clothing, a CD etc. Then set yourself another goal and carry on it that way till you reach your target weight.

Don't beat yourself up if you have a bad day. Just keep thinking positive thoughts! Good Luck!

My motavation was a 'friend' saying how her car sank when I got into it. She did me a favour as I have lost half a stone and hoping to lose more. I was upset as she is no light weight herself but on reflection I Should be thanking her.

start slow make baby steps. I would start by walking 20 mins a day. no rush just enjoy a walk. maybe park far away in parking lots, find a friend to cruze the mall or trails with. If your watching TV and feeling out of energy get on the floor and stretch during commercials. I like to blast dance music and dance with my 3yo. you just need to start. its all downhill after that!

Buy yourself an outfit you love that is one size too small. Then exercise until you fit into them. Don't bother "dieting". Eat good, healthy food until you feel full. But exercise as much as you can, building up until you get fit again. Good luck!!!

You either want to lose weight or you don't. if you want to then that will be your motivation.

Ask a friend to help it always works just tell them to stop you any time you try to have a bag of chips or a lump of chocolate.
