I found this book called The Easy Way To Quit Smoking by Allen Carr. When he claimed this book would help me quit smoking without alot of will power, I thought he was full of crap. But I read the book, and it actually works. I'm so surprised. I've been quit for 5 days now and its not even bothering me. If you see the book, pick it up. They should give it away for free.

So I bought a mattress that was too hard (like, rock hard...I have back problems and thought it would help) and have tried different toppers to make it softer. The egg crate foam was still too hard, plus it gets really hot! The memory foam also gets really hot. So far, I have liked the wool topper the best, but it flattens out after a couple of months and is not as soft anymore...and for $250 I couldn't keep buying new ones.

Should I actually get a softer bed, or is there a miracle topper out there that stays soft and isn't hot?

Thank you for any help!!

I've had people tell me that going barefoot is actually a lot better for a person, because the body learns to naturally balance itself out to the person's need and align things somehow. There was one shoe store, for example, that had a story about how people in Africa rarely have back, legs, or arthritis pain because a lot of them go barefoot(Of course, the store carried the shoes that were specially designed to give one all the benefits of going barefoot) . My homeroom teacher who runs a couple miles each morning(without shoes) claims to not have any of these problems either and it made him more aware of his surroundings as well as how his body functions.

However, today in class I had a classmate of mine(Now he is a very educated guy not someone who pretends or thinks he knows everything) told me that going barefoot can lead one to developing flat feet because the foot has no support. I did not press him further because I had to leave, but became curious. Is this true?

Near my chin, closer to my chin, when i pinch around I feel a lump under my skin. It doesn't feel like i have one there at all, and it's not visible, but i felt it when i squeezed it. Is that normal? What could it be? I would say it's about the size of a small pebble.

I have had constipation since forever. I would only do number 2 once a week. I tried having lots of fiber in my diet but it didn't work until I strated eating 3-5 prunes a day. Now I have a bowel (spelling?) movement once if not twice a day. So my question is. Where did all of this waste go when I used to only poop once a week?

I am 20 years old and 70lbs overweight! Not good! I have been struggling to lose weight for quite some time now. I used to be in a good weight range until I began taking medication for depression. I have discontinued use of depression meds (i am currently on no meds) however, the battle with the weight I gained while on the meds (70lbs) has been a real struggle.

I went to the doctors today with a rash on my foot that I thought might have been ringworm. To my dismay, the doctor suggested that it is Granuloma Annulare - something that people occasionly get before becoming diabetic!!

I have noticed some more discolored spots on my foot (very faint ones) and I'm getting very nervous.

Any information would be very helpful. The doctor said that there is no treatment - and that it could last for months or even years. I want to get healthy - I need help.

I know a girl who is my age (17) and who was born with physical problems (not mental). She has problems in her vocal chords, her spine (she is about 4 feet tall) and she has one eye that is bigger than the other. She has a twin sister who is completely normal. We are not close enough for me to ask her or her sister what she has exactly, so i was wondering if any of you had a clue..
