Have you tried any over the counter meds like Immodium? If so there are a few thing you need to do. 1. Make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids, I would suggest adding a sports drink like Gatorade. Cut out all caffine. You may want to start on a BRAT diet for a few days. BRAT stands for Bannans, Rice, Applesause, Toast. Thats all you eat to help form things up. Good luck. I recently had about of diarrhea it lasted for 2 weeks and then went away. I saw my MD and all they did was draw blood. If this last more than 2 weeks go see your doc.

Dehydration is a serious consequence of diarrhea that should be addressed immediately. Replacement of fluids and electrolytes is required for patients who suffer from dehydration. Sports drinks, which include sodium and potassium, can help restore fluid balance and cardiovascular functioning in the body. Other fluids used to replenish the body after dehydration include fruit drinks, tea, broth and carbonated beverages that have gone flat (contain no fizz). Intravenous rehydration may be necessary for infants or the elderly who are profoundly dehydrated.

Has anyone in your family had it too? I think there is a mild intestional flu going around that does not get very severe, but it does not want to go away very fast. My son has had it for ten days now. The rest of us had it five days before it went away. Try drinking acidolophus milk or taking acidolophus pills. They contain natural bacteria your body needs. Eating yogurt may help too.

It could just be a bug. If it doesn't go away in a week I would see a doctor just to rule other things out. If that is your only symptom it might just be a stomach flu. The season for the flu is just beginning.

This is not normal is you are really having full blown diarrhea. You could have irritable bowel syndrome or cholitis or something similar. You may need to see a doctor if this continues.

You should be talking to your folks about this.
It's probably a viral gastroenteritis (just a stomach bug). Drink CLEAR fluids (water especially) and if you get lightheaded you definitely need to see a doc.

How cool, you use the subjunctive!
Four days is a long time, so maybe you should see the doctor. In the meantime, diarrhea is very dehydrating, so please keep up your fluids.
Good luck! Feel better soon!

It's more than likely something viral or it might be stress-induced, but it wouldn't hurt to have a physician examine you and make sure everything is okay.

No. Do you have any other symptoms? You could be getting dehydrated. Please speak to your parents and doctor, and don't change anything else about your diet until you've spoken to them.
