Do all pharmacies (wallgreens, rite aid, save-on, and small independents) use the same database when filling prescriptions?....Do all pharmacies have all your prescription history? If so....how does it work?

These reason I want to know is because My dad, my son, and myself all have the same name. Even though I go to different pharmacies than them the pharmacists keep discussing my prescriptions with my dad and my sons mother.......I do not like that. If I goto an independent would that solve it, or do they use the same database too?

Different pharmacies have different computer programs. Your insurance would have a master list.
