Caffiene is a natural pain-killer.
Meditation helps.
Progressive Relaxation Therapy.
Ignoring the headache and doing something else sometimes works.
Massage and/or hot shower could relax you, and if it the headache is from tension, you'd feel better.
Are we talking Migraines?
People say ice packs on the neck. I never found that to be helpful. Only Maxault medication works for me.

This depends entirely on what is the causation. If it is structural and involves any of the cranial nerves, you may find relief from the treatment of a doctor of Chiropractic. Should it be metabolic in origin, would need to follow up with a bit of research. Is always best to allow a professional to make those decisions for you. Meds are not the answer in most cases. They only slow the process down, without getting to the crux of the problem.

Get a weekly massage, even from the asians at the shopping mall can do you a quick 10 minute massage. Chances are, you have some back and neck stress, and your head is suffering because of this. Make sure you have proper pillows at night, you are not straining your back during the day, and you take good care of your shoulders and neck. Try rubbing your temples, avoiding chemicals in food(especially in meat, and junk food) and linit your intake of sugars. I hope you feel better soon. :)

I can think of 3 things at this moment and one of them is apply some heat, like with a blow dryer (sounds silly but it works) the other is aromatherapy, apply a little bit of lavender oil (notice I said a little) behind your ears. Lastly, do you know what is causing your headaches and whether they Are headaches and not migraines? Sometimes what can help is reducing the things that cause your headaches.
Much Luck, hope you feel better!

Cut out a lemon and with the inside part hold it on the part thats hurting after a few minutes it will go away, I'm not sure if i explained it right. Drink water, but before drinking put your finger on the top of the glass and go round 5 times. It works :D

Take your thumb and hold it to the middle of your forehead just above the top of your nose, and press hard against your forehead, and when you find the right spot on the nerve that is here your headache will stop, and if it comes back do the very same thing!

If you have someone who can help you, it's a good idea to have them massage your neck and head. It depends on the cause of your headaches, of course, but often times muscle tension is a huge factor. Don't forget to massage your scalp, cheeks and temples.
