Eat little an often but its possible you may have a small peptic ulcer so get it checked by a doctor please. In the interim go to your chemist and ask for some ant-acid tablets - they should help.

peppermint works, i suffered from indigestion until i started drinking a pre and probiotic drink with omega 3 called vitality, started drinking one a day last year and have only had indigestion about 3 times it is worth giving it a go, and it certainly won't do you any harm. Hope this helps and good luck.

Indigestion is due to bad eating habits or drinking impure water.Donot take too much acidic food .Avoid citrus and fruit juices and cola group drinks.Too much cold food is not good.Always try to eat fresh food.Keep food in closed containers only.Always drink boiled water only.Keep abottle of Gelucil syrup always in your shelf.Do not eat in between.restrict food 3 times a day, break fast, noon and supper.

See your G.P.!
For temporary relief, try Gaviscon tablets (the lemon flavour chewable are best flavour I think), if that doesn't help, Ranitidine. At the chemist, ask to speak to the pharmacist. The higher strength Ranitidine are only available on prescription - treatment for ulcers.

try this, boil kettle of water, let water cool down, drink about a pint, the water is basically sterilised so will cool down the gut, it sounds vile and warm water isn't pleasant but it works. I have tried this a number of times, my mother's solution to indigestion. It may take a couple of goes but should clear.

WHY HAS EVERYONE WHO ANSWERED GOT A THUMBS DOWN?

anything of the above only instead of ranitidine which is a drug with a lot of interactions with other drugs, I would suggest omeprazol, unfortunately prescription only.
