I have a lot of anxiety issues mainly when it comes to social situations. I have never seen a doctor about this, but would like some meds to calm me down because it gets worse as I get older. I think this relates to my spastic colon, my stomach always goes crazy when I'm in social situations. What kind of doctor do I see for this? Can my GP prescribe medication for this or do I have to see a shrink? Thanks!!

i have a really bad stiff neck an awul headache and i am so hot but shivering. I also feel really sick, i have phoned the dr but can get an appointment for today. any advise welcome, thanks in advance

Last Sunday he became sort of sick just coughing and sort of nauseas, Monday he was a little worse he couldn't hardly breathe he'd have to stop for air he couldn't do much activity and on Thursday brought him to the hospital because he was coughing up mucus and had a swirl of blood...after that no blood. So they sent him home w/ some meds & he's still not better. Now his eyes are tearing up they're red normally the bottom part is sort of pink-red but his are just red and he get like yellowish white discharge and he is constantly sweating no matter the temp. =\ he sleeps a lot and he can't eat much. And his voice altered it's extremely deep and raspy it's kind of scary. But NOW he has a really bad earache and is dizzy. He still has all of the above symptoms minus the coughing up blood.

I know I know GO TO THE DOCTOR, THE ER
but he refuses any sort of medical help and he can because his living will is that if he gets sick to let him be. Let fate take over.

medicaid only provides primary care dr care and meds...if u have a serious health issue help is not out there...yet they want the american public working...health is essential to be employed...are there any agencies one can go to if Medicaid is not addressing medical needs and income falls in poverty level?

i sleep when i have to but if i had it my way i would never go to bed, i want to sleep but i just hate lying in bed trying to fall asleep but failing to do so till morning comes... i dont want to take any pills.. any help? it would be much appreciated

I was cleaning my ear with a q-tip (I know bad) And something popped and than I could hear through that ear but it sounded muffeld like their was something in my ear. I am experiencing no dis-comferte in that ear but my other ear hurts which is strange. The ear that popped doesn't hurt I just couldn't hear very well. Then I went to a theme park and when I got home I took a shower and I think that I might have gotton water in it and now it won't come out and I can barley hear at all. Does anyone know what happend? Could I permanatly lose my hearing in that ear? Anyone know remedies?

i live with my grandpa and uncle 4 personal reasons and they both smoke cigarettes. i go to school everyday and somebody tells me "you smell like smoke" and i say "i know" cuz i dunno wat else 2 say! shoot and not to mention i have a ton of long hair and even if i wash it everyday it smells like smoke. what do i do? febreeze---doent work oust or watever else doesnt work either..ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I smoke weed with my friends and my eyes turn RED. like the white part is BRIGHT read, everyone says they are like nothing anyone has ever seen before. No one elses' eyes get red... Why don't their eyes get red?

i have clear eyes and my friends don't put any of that in, they naturally don't get red eyes.

So why me?

I'm 17, and I know I need help, but my parents won't help me at all, and I'm out of options, forced to take matters into my own hands, but I have no money or insurance, and I can't pay for anything, no doctor's fee, no meds, nothing. I was running with a friend and i really liked it (i dont run often). But i didnt like it cuz my boobs bounced.( alot)

I have had the hiccups on and of since lunch and its really starting to bother me! I had a turkey sanwhich with cheese and barbecue chips. I also had a sprite! But I have had this meal for lunch quite a lot and have never goten the hiccups. I have had them on and off for a time period of 45minutes to an hour. Does anyone know how to get rid of them?

Just a couple of minutes ago, my left hand started numbing up as if it was really cold, but it wasnt. There was a sufficiant blood cirulation, my fingers were the same size and colour as the ones on my right hand. I tried to exercise it for a bit but that didnt seem to do anything. A couple of mins later my lower lip started to tingle alot. I checked to see if it was swelling but it looked no different than what it normally looks like. Then, a couple more mins after that, the tip of my tounge started to tingle aswell, I checked again to see if that was swelling but it looked fine. After about 6-7 mins everything just stopped and returned to normal. I am 14 years old and I have never experienced anything like this. Should I be worried or is it quite normal?

I know it's an odd question, but when you haven't had anything to drink for ages, and then you have a coke, which is black....Why is your pea always the same colour no matter what the colour is you've drank?
