My boyfriend has been getting diarrhea since yesterday morning and its been blood coming out. He's never had that before and obviously it's not normal. What causes this? Is it really serioud, he got it again today. What is there to do about this besides going to the doctor [just for the time being]. Can anything serious happen to him, I'm basically worried about him and if anyone can help it'll be great. thank you so much

My father is O + and my mother is AB . They had identical twins which is my sister and I, which came out O +. Everyone has been saying that it's impossible that an AB mother could have an O + kid. We called up genetic counseling 'cause my mother had to go through them from the drugs she was on. We were the first babies to be born while the mother was on the blood thinner called Kumadent or something like that. They said the medicine isn't an issue and my mother says she knows for certain we weren't switched at birth. She had my sister natural while she had me censeran. So, how can this be?

I felt fine on Sunday and over the weekend. Than I felt fine when I got up on Monday. But I started feeling really sick before I went to school but I went anyway. The night before I ate a sauce that I had never eaten before at one of my favorite resturaunts and sometimes certain foods like chilli and onions make me throw-up and I dont know why it may be food intolerance. So I'm at school and I start feeling really sick during my first block and I'm also sweating alot but I dont have a fever the nurse said. Suddenly I almost barf so I ask to go to the nurse and I throw-up in the hall on the way there. The nurse sent me home after that and as soon as I threw-up I started freeling better. and by the end of the day I felt preety good and I went to swim practice but I was slower probably because I was sick earlier. The thing is I think my stomach is still tired because I didnt feel the best after breakfast but it went away and the feeling was worse after lunch.

I was reading that too much of some vitamins can have bad sideeffects on your body, such as hair falling out, losing teeth, losing sight. The same as not having enough will do. So I wondered do they take that into consideration in those multivitamis? Because I know I do get some vitamins from my food, just probably not enough of somethings on somedays.... anyways is it dangerous for me to take vitamin supplements? yes or no. thanks

I am interviewing for a new job. They told me I have to take an alcohol and drug test which is no problem because I do not use drugs so I am not worried. But the thing I am confused about is that they said I have to take an alcohol abuse test as well. What is that? I have never heard of a company doing this. I drink sometimes so I don't want that to cause me to fail the test. How long does alchohol stay in your system so I make sure it does not show up on the test??? Thanks!

When my husband and I were hiking the other day, we noticed that he was sweating quite a bit and his skin was nice and cool. I, on the other hand, was not sweating a bit and my skin was very hot.

I have noticed since then that even with a hard 40 minute workout, I don't sweat much at all. Should I be worried about my inability to sweat? What could it be caused by?

About a week after Easter, at softball practice, we were praticing sliding into home. When I slid, I slid wrong and have an open scar on my knee. It bleed for a couple seconds and the bleeding went away. The next day, we pratice sliding again and I made the scar open more. Again, it bleed for a couple seconds and stopped. Now, there isn't no dry blood or anything, but there is a red dot where the scar was.

Another insident is about 2-3 week after easter, in Italian, we were doing this skit in front of the class and I had to play dead. When I got on to the floor, I got a rug burn. Again, there is a red dot there, still.

Most of my other scars that bleed took a REALLY long time to go away. Most of my scars and bruises usually takes a min. of a month and a half, depending on the size of the scar. I still have some red marks from when I fell off my scooter in the summer of 2006.

Do I have a diease or is it just how my body works?

I've been following the headlines about people going to court of vaccine damage from MMR, and I don't completely follow the situation: supposedly scientists have found no link between autism and the MMR vaccine, and yet there are currently 5,000 some people bringing accounts of their children damaged from this vaccine to court. So what exactly is going on? Were all of the scientific studies flawed?
