Are rolliepollies (Sorry for the mispelling) harmful if you accidentaly eat one?

I am asking, because a child at a day care center accidentaly ate one. When the teacher tried to pull it out, the child swallowed the bug!!! Will something happen, if anything? Thanks so much

I can't say for sure. But I think the acid in the stomach of the child would kill the roly poly and diminish any bad effects.
