First of all you have to really want to give up Smoking, if you are not ready you wont succeed . Set a date maybe a few weeks away so you will have time to get ready . I tried many things they all failed then i tried the clear patches and they worked for me .
Smoke your last cigarette in the morning then put a patch straight on . Its not going to be plain sailing but it will be worth it Good luck

This could be gross but I smoked for 6 years and couldn't stand the not being able to walk up the stairs without huffing and puffing so I decided this is it....I'M DONE! Well I couldn't do it. So instead of smoking I started chewing and it worked cause chewing is not my thing so once I didn't need that cigarette I started slowing down the chewing and just quit.
Hey it worked for me...you never know

This may be extreme but it worked for me. I smoked for a long time and tried the patch, gum and all of the above with no luck. After that I asked myself, why do I want to quit. Well, my main reason was because I didnt want to die of heart failure or lung disease. Sooo, when I felt the need for a cig, I got online and looked at picks of peoples lungs after smoking. It will make you sick, but everytime you light up those pics will flash in your head. There is nothing worse than pics of diseased lungs.

I gave up four months ago with the help of nicotine gum. I was on 4mg for six weeks then down to 2mg for the next six weeks. I was on a progamm from my doctors, you can get this free on the NHS, just ask at your doctors. I still occasionally use the nicotine gum but it gets easier as time goes by and you can chew up to twelve of these gums per day to help with the cravings..

The only way is to simply stop. Don't set any goals about giving up after this pack or at the end of the week because you are giving yourself an excuse to continue. Good luck.

Me too, and you know it's tough.
Any of those products out there are SO expensive that it is almost cheaper to smoke then to buy that stuff.
I don't know how to stop either. I guess have a buddy do it with you.

you just have to control yourself. this is the time to really see how strong of a person you are and can be. so be confident and quit knowing that ur saving urself from all kinds of greusome ailments and can live a long and happy life with ur family and loved ones. best of luck and it never helps to get a little help so try the patch or nictine gum or get counseling. if you really want this you can do it!
