vitamins A and D are the most likely to make you sick if you take too much
they aren't the only vitamins that can be dangerous.
All vitamins have the potential to be toxic if you ingest too much of them.
Part of the reason why A and D put you at higher risk than Vitamin C and others has to do with the way vitamins are dissolved.
Vitamin C dissolves in water. , if you take vitamin C in excess , your body flushes it out through urine
Vitamins A and D dissolve in oils and melted fat.
When you take too much of one of these vitamins,
rather than flushing the excess out,
the body stores the surplus in fat or in fatty tissues such as the liver and the brain.
Accumulation of water in the brain, severe headaches, and birth defects are three of the toxic levels problems Vitamin A can cause.
If you keep a eat well-balanced diet, you'll most likely get the vitamins your body needs without the use of supplements.
This does not mean that vitamins are bad for you. Most people don't eat right or get the vitamins they need so they need to take vitamins. minerals & herbs also help keep you healthy. Buy vitamins that contain herbs & minerals and take according to directions. They shouldn't hurt unless you overdose on them.

Try to find a vitamin that isn't to potent. I find if I take a potent vitamin that I get shaky and restless.
I take half of a multi vitamin a day and I feel great. Any less or any more and I don't feel so great.
See what your body responds too and talk to the pharmacist about what a good multi-vitamin would be for you.

If you take MASSIVE amounts of any vitamins, then yes it will be bad for you.
Is it dangerous? NO!! If you take ONE multivitamin a day, you'll be fine.
The benefits of vitamins outweight the risks; these risks are being reported each day and then the next told reported as wrong. Even the studies they use to report fatilities and problems with vitamins are flawed.

Absolutely SAFE, However The only ones you can overdose on are A, D, E,K. because these can be stored and built up in the fat of your body.. All the other Vitamins are OK..However you would have to take a MASSIVE amount to be a health hazard...

Really too much of anything can hurt you! So yes. If you take a one a day multivitamin and watch your diet, you will be fine. Take into account you should see your physician or a nutritionist and ask about any ailments you have and what effects extra supplements will have on you!

Everyones needs are different. To know the answer for you, you could get tested for what your particular body is depleted in. In general, we all need certain vitamins and the ones that are not fat soluble leave your body through-out the day, so you can't get too much of them.

Don't take more than one multivitamin pill a day. And don't worry about the extra vitamins, proteins, etc. you get from food we eat. It is alright if you get both. But more than one multivitamin pill can be dangerous, because of too much mercury.

It is good to take multivitamins, but you should definitely not take more than what is recommended. Usually its on the back and you take only 1 (it varies). But you should rarely ever take more than 1. Hope this helped. And no, its not dangerous, just dont overdose!
