Granted I did not cough at all up until now. When I first quit, I did wonder how my body was getting rid of stuff w/out coughing. Now 2 months later, I am coughing up some stuff from my lungs. Is it normal to develop a cough 2 months after quitting smoking? Why so late?

In 2005 I suffered a traumatic brain injury from a serious auto accident and I had a lot of balance problems, including some vestibular issues. That has since been resolved, and my everyday balance is fine. However, I used to do a lot of swing and ballroom dancing, and when I tried a simple dance recently, I felt very imbalanced. Any unusual motion of my head causes me to feel unsteady (I am a school teacher and looking up and down from my notes to the chalkboard is difficult). Will my balance EVER return, or should I get used to using the overhead projector at school and not dancing anymore?

Has anybody ever had an enema by using a bit of castile soap and warm water? My doctor says it's pretty common. But I want to know if it will make you sick or cause you to have severe cramps? I know having all that water inside you can do it. But will adding castile soap make it worse?

It's a question I've wanted to ask for ages because I want to work out how much the government receives on average if every smoker bought one packet of 10 fags per week. And why the government doesn't just put the money towards building shelters for the smoking community instead of spending it on other things.

I had a cold around 8 weeks ago, and it went after 3 or 4 days, but since then every few days I get a stuffy nose, and sore throat. My voice is permenantly husky, and I have a cough. I don't want to bother my doctor for a simple cold, but am starting to get concerned that I'm still suffering from terrible headaches and lethargy.
Could this be the cold still in my system? And if so, how do I get rid of it??

I am an American teaching English in Spain. My problem started out with a UTI, then I was untreated by the doctors here and they said it would pass, they said they dont like to give antibiotics for every little thing. I usually drink cranberry juice, and it goes away. Well this has been going on for 4 months now, and they recently found 2 kidney stones 5mm and 6mm. With socialized medicine the way it is, I have been in and out of doing blood and urine tests. Is there anything that I can do to help pass them quicker?? Please help thanks!!

My wife gets depressed sometimes and says that she is fed up with life. I would like to help her acheive her wish and die, but I do not want to go to prison. Should I help and if so what would be a good - untraceable - way to do it?
Thanx

Hi. Recently, after cycling for about 25 minutes I was finding it difficult to inhale air. First I just couldn't and then and then I had to inhale very very slowly to get it going. It was like it was "blocked" on the left side of my chest.

Is this something should see a doctor about?
The problem is tha just last week I west to my GP about complaints about tiredness. He didn't want to do anything and thought it was really likely to be the prozac I was taking. I don't really want to go back there.
Could it just be all in my mind or just "muscles problems"?

(I have experienced the same thing before -it is very infrequent)

Probably not. I feel like my doctors can't really give me proper treatment because my case seems to be so rare. But, when you think about it, the spleen is a very delicate organ, so having an accident that causes multiple bone fractures would most likely cause the spleen to rupture as well. Is there anybody else out there who shares my infirmity that can advise me?

I don't know if it happens to everyone but I've seen it a few times so I'm wondering why it happens.

A hard guess of mine is, the body is unable to digest any food at that moment and does some kind of a "hard reset" (if you know computer terminology, you know what I mean :P).
