If this lump is central it may be associated with your thyroid gland. Seeking advice from your GP is the obvious only answer.

I would go to the doctors asap.
I had a similar thing, and do not mean to scare you, but I was later diagnosed with Leaukeamia after having weird lumps on my neck and losing weight.
It probably isn't that, cos therea are loadsa other symptoms with it aswell, but I would get to see a doctor to rule out anything significant.

All the best

I don't know how to say this gently so let me blurt this out.

Go to a doctor. As soon as you possibly can. That type of thing in so critical an area of the body is nothing to mess around with.

This is not something you want to accept random guesses from people on the net who cannot properly diagnose it.

I practice medicine and I wouldn't even begin to try to diagnose something that potentially dangerous.

we have glands just lying next to the adams apple.

if this is inflamed or swollen, this only means that there's some form of infection or anomaly somewhere in our body.

i suggest that you go straight to your GP monday morning and have it checked out.

it might be nothing serious but it's best that you know what's going on inside your precious body.

better to nip things in the bud.

good luck.

sounds like a cist or something simlar but to be on the safe side go to the hospital (just walk in) and get it checked out.
they will probably do a biopsy and check to see if its normal or not.

i wish you the best of luck.

I'd say you should see your doctor because you never know what it might be. It could be cancer.
