Hi. Recently, after cycling for about 25 minutes I was finding it difficult to inhale air. First I just couldn't and then and then I had to inhale very very slowly to get it going. It was like it was "blocked" on the left side of my chest.

Is this something should see a doctor about?
The problem is tha just last week I west to my GP about complaints about tiredness. He didn't want to do anything and thought it was really likely to be the prozac I was taking. I don't really want to go back there.
Could it just be all in my mind or just "muscles problems"?

(I have experienced the same thing before -it is very infrequent)

Does it feel like something needs to pop when you get a deep breath? You may a a sort of pleurisy. That's what I had & you have the same symptoms. It has something to do with the muscles around Ur lungs & in my case heart too. I was going thru a stressful time & put on xanax. Hope this gives you something to think about.

It could be temporary enlargement a throat muscle blocking the passage. You were cycling!. Test it out by doing a strenuous walk or run on the tread mill and see if recurs. If so do see another physician so you can get a second opinion.
