After running for a while what is that sharp pain you get in your around the bottom of your stomache and side. What causes that and what are ways to prevent it?

I will be going in for a biopsy next week and will be put to sleep for approx half an hour during the procedure. My doc asked if I smoke marijuana and I said no because I wasn't sure if what I would tell him was confidential or not. Now I don't smoke on a regular basis, only about 3 times a week, do I need to tell him so that he can inform the anesthesiologist? Or does it really make much of a difference?

my 9 yr old daughter as become very emotional lately.........and then the next she has almost like p.m.s. moments where she gets very b*tchy...........is it a possible sign that she may start her period at this age?..............she has never acted this way.........she use to be very polite and would never argue with you.but now shes getting on my last nerve(dont get me wrong i love my daughter, shes my life).please give me some advice on this.

As part of my attempts to get my full "5 a day" quota I have been taking bites from the catcus in my living room. The problem is that it makes my mouth hurt. The more cactus I eat the more my oral orifice suffers, sometimes resulting in bleeding. Does anyone have any hints as to serving suggestions?

I am fourteen years old and have rings underneath my eyes. They are purple-ish. I have had glasses since second grade [I am in eighth now.], and have an eye doctors appointment on March 6th. I only have seventeen days. My problem is: I want contacts. But even foundation won't cover up my ugly eyes! I have school vacation this week, so I am willing to try anything. I'm sick of people saying it's not a disease. It's as much as of a disease as cancer is. This whole conflict started when I was on a website. The girl was saying that she hates alcholics. I got very offened because my step dad was an alcholic, I left comments in her comment box complaining about it.

So tell me.. Alcholism IS a disease, right?
