Certain medications or too much of some foods causes diarrhea but if that's not your case, see a doctor to make sure there isn't a medical condition requiring a prescription or other proceedure. If not, there are over the counter anti-diarrheal remedies, such as Immodium.

a medical check up should be priority because you use the word chronic...
I am sure this will be the best thing to do..
because IBS or Crohns must be ruled out..
and serious conditions such as bowel cancer checks will also be made... you GOT to have this done as soon as poss...... so GO ...

I had really bad IBS after having my gall bladder removed and my doctor put me on Welchol. It's a cholesterol med but the main side effect is constipation. It's a big pill but very effective.

Also be sure to avoid sucrolose. Most artificial sweeteners can worsen diarhea.......

Have you taken Imodium? If not start there, it's over the counter.
Clear liquid diet-jello, chicken broth
Avoid milk products
Try these things for 24 hours and if
not improved see your doctor.

See a doctor. You may have Irritable bowel Syndrome, colitis or Crohn's disease. There are medications that will help.

GO TO THE DOCTOR OR ER right away it could be a sign of infection or a nasty bacteria.
