my friend whos 15 thinks she had a stroke because she had ONE migrain ONCE! is this possible... she had it for about a day then it went away and has no more pain at all...

I have never had dandruff till I moved to a colder climate earlier this year. Another thing that I've noticed is my hair is falling out. It's not falling out in clumps or anything, but I wonder if the two are related?

I know it sounds weird and selfish because people are out there who are really starving and I feel so bad but I like the way I feel when I dont eat and Im hungry and sick......why do I like the way it feels when I dont eat .....it makes me feel great just to say no to food and the feeling of empty stomach, sickly, and really hungry.

A big ice storm is moving in and they are preparing to lose power just like we did two years ago. Last year I was very lucky that I only lost it for a few hours, while others were out for a week plus. If I dont get as lucky this time, what is the best way to keep my son, cat, and self warm? my two year old son has an outward curve in the small of his back i have been to kaiser numerous times seen three different doctors and had it x-rayed thay all tell me it is nothing it is constantly bruised from his car seat or playing rough i have requested to see a back and spine specialist and they are refusing to refer me to one telling me its nothing it is normal and im just being paranoid hehas had this since the day he was born and it does not seem to bother him in a painfull way nor is it causing any physical problems can any one enlighten me on this

I have a daughter with special needs that has had chronic ear infections since August of last year. When cultured the bug came back as Thrush. This is something I have never ever heard of in the ear. Does anyone have any suggestion on a good way to treat this. She has been given ear drops, ear cream and antibiotics, unfortunately she is still a discomfort and above all cannot hear out of it.

Does anyone know of any ways that you can give someone who you believe may be using crack or heroin a drug test with out them knowing? I know that sounds crazy, but I believe my brother may be relapsing and he refuses to take a drug test, is there any way that my mother or I can either have him forced to take one, or any way i can get him to take him unknowingly?

There is a certain plant which a friend used to grow in her house in Orlando, Florida, which REPELS MOSQUITOES. It is said that mosquitoes stay away from the area where the plant is... any idea which plant that might be? where can I get it??! Need it urgently as there are too many mosquitoes and malaria problems where we live.
