I have never had dandruff till I moved to a colder climate earlier this year. Another thing that I've noticed is my hair is falling out. It's not falling out in clumps or anything, but I wonder if the two are related?

one consideration: you have a food allergy, likely to gluten.
keep trak of your diet for 2 wks, then stop eating wheat, yeah its tough, but do it for a couple of weeks, see if there is a change in your skin condition.

Yes, I too got dandruff when I moved to a colder climate. I live in Alaska and in the winters here we have very low humidity. I've also found the low humidity causes my back and lower legs to become dry and itchy. It's a common problem here that I've spoken to many people about.

I use T-Gel twice a week to combat the dandruff and I use conditioner daily to moisturize my scalp. For the itchy back and legs, I recommend a daily moisturizing body wash (something rich in Vitamin E) and use baby oil 3 or 4 times a week.

the cold dries the moisture in the air creating a dry scalp and then dandruff. Head and Shoulders should improve that.

this is very common. dry skin does not exclude your scalp, and the cold could be drying out your hair too, causing it to fall out. i would try a deep conditioner, or go to your local salon for an oil treatment. it will make your hair super shiny and moisturize your scalp!
