Well blow your nose of course. That's a given. Hot showers or steam always work well. Taking a decongestant, like Sudafed, etc. Also, when I have a dry stuffy nose "Ocean" is a great hydrating agent. Basically, it's saline in a spray bottle and you can get it in any pharmacy department. I carry a bottle with me everywhere. It's also great if you are an allergy sufferer and have the dry itchy nose thing.

I have found that the best and quickest remedy for a stuffy nose is steam inhalation. To make the steam, you may use water only, or you may add dried or fresh herbs or herbal oils to enhance the effects of the treatment.

To provide the steam, you may place the hot water in either a sink or a pot. Not boiling water and be careful not to burn yourself. If desired, add 2 to 5 drops of herbal oil. Hold your head over the sink or pot, drape a towel over your head and shoulders and breathe in the steam. Usually five to ten minutes of steam should be sufficient to clear your congestion.

Keep your face far enough from the water so that the steam does not irritate or burn your skin. This is particularly important when a child is being treated as a child's skin is more sensitive to heat.

After much trial and error, I have found this to be the very best. Good luck and God bless.

I don't know about being the "best" remedy, but a really quick way to clear a stuffy nose is.....

1. Find a skunk
2. Kick the skunk in the ***
3. Inhale
