it is a little high, but it could be due to you being nervous.
Most doctors want you to relax for at least 15 minutes before they check it. I wouldn't be to concerned yet, unless you have repeated readings of 150/87 or it goes up. The best thing if you are worried is go to the store and buy your own digital blood pressure machine and check it yourself several times throughout the day and see for yourself, then you wont be as nervous

Going to the doctor can raise your blood pressure; this is called "white coat hypertension". That's why it's better to take your blood pressure over the course of many days and then average the results to get your "real" blood pressure.

The last time I went to the doctor, I had a normal blood pressure when they first took it. When my visit was over and I had relaxed a bit, they took my blood pressure again and found it to be unusually low. A lot can change in just a couple hours. This is why it's very important to get your blood pressure checked many different times; you can't rely on a single reading.

Don't be nervous -- being nervous only increases your blood pressure! :) I'm sure it's fine. Have you ever had problems with blood pressure in the past? If not, it's probably just a fluke. Also, was it cold in the doctor's office? Cold weather can cause blood pressure to sky rocket! I'm a 90/60 kind of girl, and when I was freezing and nervous, mine was like 120/80! YIKES! I'm sure you'll be fine, and good luck with everything!

Possible. But the change would not be very significant. Nevertheless why don't you visit this web site to know more on hypertension. http://ailments.in/hypertension.html
