i was 10 when i first got them and a classmate of mine had them since age 8.


i'd say 10 is probably the youngest the kid should be though..


and that woman above whose 20 year old "loses" his... haha. well he's a moron. how do you lose something that's in your eye?

Kids are too young. You should be in your teens. I would say around 15. You have to be able to put them in your own eye. No one else can help you with that.

It depends on the maturity level of the child. I would not give kids under 13 contact...even my 20 year-old step-son loses his because he is not careful with them.
