I have just been for a ultrasound scan that said it can see nothing wrong with me and my doctor has drawn a blank, it hurts especially after eating with really bad stabbing pains and sometimes hot flushes. Can anyone tell me what this is?

and it realy hurts alot. also there is a little bit of redness in the corner so i think it might be infevted. im gonna go to the doc tomarrow and was wondering what exactly do they do to remove it? does it hurt? and will it bleed alot during or afterwards?

I've been on these boards now asking medical questions because I have health concerns that the doctors I go to have not addressed. I actually gain a lot more knowledge from posts than from doctors, unfortunately. I have trouble swallowing. When I swallow, I feel something hard in there. Could this be my uvula? It doesn't look swollen but it looks tilted to the side. And it is a tiny bit red. How could I find out if something is wrong with it? Do I get a culture done?

I am a alcoholic it doesnt effect my work or finances, i dont get i n trouble with the law i dont wake up craving a drink & i dont carry a hip flask. however i cant remember the last time i fell asleep instead of passing out or the last time i never had the shakes I have read aot of peoples ideas of a alcoholic on here & i dont fit the bill. So where does someone like me get help the docs will say just stop & if i go to AA everyone will seem worst than me
So please i need some advice on how to stop because on the outside i seem fine but really i m not i want my life back

I've been wearing contacts for a while only giving my eyes a break on weekend mornings, I broke my glasses a while back accidentally and never had time to fix them.

What do you think and suggest?

I look really good in contacts by the way hehe.

Hi. My doc wrote me an Rx for glasses after having eye infection caused by contact lenses. Glasses seem to be nice, but not clear as contacts, like objects are not clear, and side vision is impaired...
Any ideas why? Can they worsen my eye-sight?
