i had my pain meds stolen by someone i thought was my friend. now i have to go to my MD for a pill count. should i try to substitute a similar looking med or tell him the truth, it being her word against mine. i really need my pain meds as i have DJD in my spine and hips.

I can go like 2-3 days with hardly any water maybe a couple sips. But I drink more after I'm excersising. I recently went to the doctor because I had bladder problems. My body needed to be cleansed and there was some kind of infection. I started to drink a lot of water but then I just stopped. I also have problems remembering to drink water. Is this normal? Does anyone know good ways to remember to drink water regularlly?

You really have to pee, but you can't? Like, what I'm thinking, is you haven't peed in, like, two days, and you're literally about to burst, and suddenly, you get a hard-on. What happens then? If it doesn't go away in time, does your bladder, just, explode?

My right eye twithches everyday for most of the day(everyday).I'm curious about what doctor i should see and what could be the cause of it.My e-mail address is:jac9blond@yahoo.com I've also been seeing a Chiropractor,Bone Specialist and now a Neurologist.As,I have Carpal Tunnel in my left wrist.I have Back&Neck problems and sleeping problems.I'd appreciate any advice.Thanks.I haven't told any doctor's yet.But,am going to this Monday when i go back to the Neurologist.Or should i see an eye doctor.I do wear glasses and have Stigmatism in both eyes. I thought it was a pimple but when I scratched it, it bled like a normal pimple. Yet now its a big rock like bump so I was trying to see if this was a sign for a certain bug bite. Theres only one hole so I dont think it was a spider.

I am a 14 yr old african american female. my hair is a little past my shoulders and is very thick. Lately I have started washing my hair about 2-3 times a week. i soon started noticing that my scalpe is very itchy and their are white things in my hair and by my roots. i researched a little and think I have lice. I know it's rare for black people to have lice because of their thick hair, but you never know. Am I just being crazy?Do you think i just have common dandruff or could it be lice?

two totally different things.

1.) i just started straightening my hair everyday, where can i get a good heat protection spray for cheap?


2.) a friend of mine (who is 14) just got her belly button pierced recently. now she's planning on, next weekend, getting her tongue and nose pierced and getting a tattoo right above her butt. (just so you can see it when she bends down, basically) to me this is repulsive. how can i tell her that without her getting all "woooo" about it?

Hi,
I have a really bad sore throat, and I think I need antibiotics. How can I see a doctor and get a medication without insurance and without spending tons of money in an emergency room? I live in New York City, so any specific answers (what clinic to go to, a doctor that takes people without insurance, etc.) would be quite appreciated.

I have been wearing glasses for 4 years and every year I have had to go for an eye exam to increase the strength of my prescription. I am 24 and my prescription is now -4.00 and I sense its time for stronger lenses soon. My first prescription was -1.75, a second prescription was -2.50, then -3.25 and now -4.00. I am fine with wearing glasses, its just my concern about my loss of clear vision and total dependency on corrective lenses. It seems surreal that at 18 I could see fine and now I need to have fairly strong glasses on to see across the room. Has anyone else had this happen to them and when do the changes usually stop?

I am 19 and having been wearing contacts for 3 years now. I got new prescription contacts with the same brand. But for the 3 weeks since getting them, have been getting blurry vision in alternating eyes and more redness than usual. I usually get a little redness because I wear them more than 12 hours a day. But now its much more red and I would be blurry in the left eye and clear in my right, then a hour later, blurry in my right and clear in my left. I also have the blurry eye issue with glasses but not as much. I changed the contacts but the vision hasnt improve. I clean daily my contacts and change solution daily also. Now stop wearing contacts half the week and on days with them on, its only for less than 10 hours but the problem still continues. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey, I was working in my room yesterday and the lighting was a little dim so I began taking the shade off of my tower lamp. Don't ask my why, but I stared at the lights up close for about 2 seconds about 2 different times. Once I took the shade off and began working I found the lights were really agitating my eye because they were very strong, so I put the shade back on. This happened last night and my vision is having trouble focusing. It is like a very thing shade of fuzz over each of my eyes, no pain or anything like that. I've been getting plenty of sleep this past 24 hours and still no improvement....will my vision ever go back? + it's hard to focus on tv and the cpu screen, my favorite things : )

As I was getting ready for bed last night I felt two bumps....one on the back of my neck...about right behind my left ear....and another a little down...on the back of my neck. They are a little painful when I touch or exert pressure. Other than that I have no flashes, or dizziness or anything! BUT I AM WORRIED....since it is near my head and I have read too many stories about a harmless bump on your head turning out to be cancer or worse! Can anyone tell me what it possibly could be?
