i swear i have the most negative and nosy in-laws. hubby had some chest pains tues morning. he had a routine stress test earlier and all results were good. er doc said all tests while in er were good. transferred him to city where they did a cardiac cath that resulted in no blockage..all normal..no clue what caused the chest pains. was sent home in good health. went to dinner with friends and had a couple drinks that evening. bro-in-law called our friends next day to ask if we went with them for dinner and did we have a drink.and then proceeded to yell at him that he needed to go dry out and what are you trying to do kill yourself. he has a few drinks but they are like totally against it and if you touch a drink you are crap. then blamed him for dad's blood sugar went up for worrying. hubby never misses doc appt, takes meds like he should. i am sick of this crap.

I've put on 20 pounds in a year, and when I told my doctor my concerns, he actually laughed at me (yes, I'm looking for a new doctor) and said that they all cause weight gain (he put me on the last three and lipitor) but all the research i've done doesnt say they cause weight gain (he used zoloft as an example, and on the zoloft website it says it can actually cause weight loss)

so what gives? are the pills really to blame? i know its a nice little cocktail, but I havent found any reason for me to be gaining weight like this. i diet and excercise regularly, why do i keep gaining? (he checked my thyroid and he told me its not an issue, im beginning to doubt him...)

(i recently switched from ativan to klonopin and from lamictal to geodon, so im not on all of the above)

i'm 24 year old female
i'm 5'5"
i have medium bone structure
currently i weigh 115lbs
some other girls my weight and height seem to be bigger than me
how is this possible?
people always say i'm to thin, i feel pretty skinny
i've got skinny arms, no breast hardly, my hip bones jut out
but for some reason when i eat my stomach gets huge and stays that way till morning
whats going on??

my knee has been bothering me for sometime.. and this is beacuse i am a dancer.. i am wondering what kind of doctor i should see first... my regular physician and have them look at it and then refer me to another doctor... or find a knee doctor with out consulting my regular doctor

Are there any natural home remidies to get rid of my 4 month old daughters cough...it's really bad and the medication she was taking the dr told me to stop giving it to her if it wasnt working, so now she coughs so bad she throws up and it wakes her in the night. Please help...any ideas?

the medication she was taking was prescibed the name is P Chlor GG Drops...she's no longer taking it though.

My job consists of talking on the phone a lot! But this problem makes it really embarassing when I am in the middle of a conversation and I lose my voice or sound very groggy. I mean, it's really bad. I end up clearing my throat but it just comes back. I've also tried drinking water... that works a little bit but not much. Does anyone have suggestions?

It's about an inch long, diagonally over and onto my eyebrow. I put alcohol and antibiotic on it, and it doesn't hurt, but it looks nasty.

I don't want this thing to disfigure me for life... I'm barely borderline decent looking as it is.

My husband passed away suddenly on 9-15-06. He complained with having a stomache the night before. I am being told that it will take 3-6 months before a final report will be back. I haven't even been given the peliminary report results yet. So almost two month later and I still don't know why my husband passed. So how long does it normally take to get the results back from an autospy?

I think I might have it coz I have this urgency to pee at night but nothing comes out. It also burns when I do urinate. I started drinking cranberry juice this morning and it has helped.

ok so my friend had surgery becuase she had soliosis ( hey spine was croced) and fro 3 weeks she couldn't eat because the doctor were empting her stomach so she got really skinny. When she left the hospital she told me she was gonna eat eat eat so she could get fatter ( she was really skinny) and now it's being more than a year and sh eonly got a little bigger and all my other friends noticed that she was skinny. my friend never eats breakfast and never brings her lunch to school or brings money to buy food. As home she says she eats all the time but when she over at any of our friends houses she never eats. Is there something worng with her?
