I work at a drug store and the most popular otc for bladder infections is AZO. You will find it in the same section as the Midol and feminine hygiene products. I have used it and it has helped. But, if the infection is severe, you will need to see the doctor after the weekend. But, the AZO will get you through the weekend with less discomfort.

AZO is OTC pyridium and it will relieve your bladder spasms, which cause the urgency. Cranberry juice and lots of water will help to dilute and change the pH of your urine and relieve some of the burning. If you do have an actual infection it will require antibiotics to cure it, these other things just relieve symptoms. You should see a doctor. There are other things that cause burning upon urination, including some STD's.

There's a product otc that you can get that will relieve the burning and give you relief, BUT, it will not cure it. It's called "Uristat". It will turn your pee orange but it's better than living with the pain. Keep up with the cranberry juice as well. You'll need Antibiotics from the doctor in addition to the Uristat to get rid of the UTI. If you don't get an antibiotic it can lead to severe kidney problems.

drink lots of cranberry juice. It has natural ingredients to flush out infections. It may also come in a pill form, but drinking cranberry juice (not cran-apple or cran-grape) should work in a few days.

If you are in the US, you can't get antibiotics OTC. If Cranberry juice doesn't cure it, see a Dr. to get a perscription for antibiotics.
