Ok i got a cold and the cough medication that i am taking (prescription) Isnt doing any good. I have tried all that i can think of but i cough so hard i just about "loose my lunch" HELP!!!!....It kinda feels like my mouth if full of hair although i know its not. Any suggestions?????

Ive been to a couple of different optometrists over the years. My old one said I was a good candidate for lasik, the new guy says with my "base curve" (of 8.5) I might not have enough corneal tissue... Does anyone know if thats true? My contact rx by the way is -5.25 in both eyes.

and her parents took her to a doctor who suggested further testing.her parents however refuse to allow the testing. is there a way to get her tested for severe heart murmer without their knowledge consent or most importantly money? subject is almost 16, subject is also female, subject will not allow anything that will harm her parents in any way (including reporting child abuse etc)

i have really bad asthma, and i wanted to know if chihuahuas are the better choice. i think a chihuahua is a rat with no fur. no effence to people who say the are cute. and they yap too much!! can you help me think of a pet good as that to help me with my asthma?????????.........♥

keep on touching my nose with my arms to warm it up... It's a very uncomfortable feeling but I don't know what else to do! It's always so cold in my classes!!!

I'd like to know what to do ESPECIALLY when it comes to my nose... That's usually what gets cold first.......

i'm 17 and i just can not sleep at nights...there are some nights i can go without sleep at all..but on a regular basis i'm getting from around 4-6 hours of sleep...how is this unhealthy? what can i do to be tired and want sleep and GET sleep. i'm tired during the day but once night hits i'm not tired at alll..i get all sorts of energy. and the thought of sleeping seriously scares me..whats wrong with me?

Does anyone have any advise on how to raise your self esteem levels. I used to be so confident and now I just don't I have anxity and my doctor told me that this could be why but i just don't know. I've got a wonderful fiance but because i feel so horrible about myself i'm so scared that I will lose him. I trust him i just feel so down about myself. He never puts me down he is always trying to make me feel better.

Everyday when i come home from school, i start to feel really sleepy and accidentally fall asleep in my contacts. This has happened to me about maybe 8 or more times. Is this an okay thing to do? Will this also ruin my contacts if it happens more often?

I had bronchitis and now the worst of it is over, its like a really bad cold with a chest cough. Anyway now i seem to have a phlegm ball in my throat that i cant swallow. i cant get a full swallow because its blocking the way. Ive tried swallowing it which doesnt work, ive tried spitting it out but i cant hork and spit really good because I gag. I know this sounds gross but its grosser hearing me try and deal with it and i want it gone asap, are there any tricks?

50 years ago the people of Holland were of average height.
Now the average height for a man is just under 6ft and 5ft 7" for a woman (3" above the UK average). Anyone know why?

I have anxity and I have been given medication from the doctor about it. But today it feels quite bad. I don't know what i'm feeling if it is anxity or something else. My fiance is out today on a golf tournament for the local pub and I know that he will be drinking and then tonight he is playing poker in a tournament at the same pub but with all his friends. He plays poker every wednesday but today is different because he is out drinking playing golf now. I keep having anxity and worry about everthing and I pray that he won't be late home. I don't know if i'm describing anxity or am i being far to dependent. I don't mind that he does things without me I do things with my friends to. I think its worse at the moment because i'm having a really bad day at work. Does what i' saying sound silly?

I have cut down my smoking, coffee. Stopped soda and beer. Going to gym 3 times a week. Still the flatulence bothers me a lot at workplace.
What is the long term solution? Should I stop eating vegies/salads?
If I don't have this problem during the work timings that will be so great.
Any suggestions?

I have a uti and I had to pee in a cup for him. He said he saw bacteria and white blood cells in the sample. He asked about any family w/diabetes, (mom and grandmother), and now he wants to test me. Something about fasting for 3 hours and taking blood each hour.

Could the white blood cells or bacteria, plus my family line, be an indicator?
