To me, happiness is sitting by the side of a pool talking to my swim coaches after a hard summer morning practice, and the feeling I get after I win a race and get a best time, and going a day with no fighting in my house... well, there's a lot, but what makes you happy? (definition: momentary gladness and lasting contentment)

...we were talking about veins and Varicose veins. My question is how would you know if you had a varicose vein if it wasn't painful or sticking out? Couldnt it just be a visable vein or something......?

I'm only 28 yrs. old and suffer everyday from chonic backpain. Although it isn't limited to, the pain is usually worse at night and in the morning. It prevents me from getting the rest I need ! Ive already seen doctors who think I'm drug seeking, Ive changed my mattresses a dozen times,I'm not over weight. I do have a slight curvature of the spine that was noticed by a pediatric doctor when I was little. I don't know what to do, but something has to be done. I can't live in agony forever!! will I have no choice but to just live like this ???? PLEASE CAN YOU HELP?

In SIngapore, i've seen school children (guys and girls) smoke. some are only 14 years old. my friends say the have seen even 9 year old kids smoke. why does the government do nothing about it? telling them its bad dosent seem to work. once, i heard this secondary school principal lecturing their students after morning assembly. it seemed that the principal knew that some students in that school are smokers. but principal only appeled to them not to smoke in school. thats all. sale of cigerattes are supposed to be for ppl above 18. but still teens posess them. they are still being sold to teens. why isnt nothing being done?
