My daughter has a large red lump on her eyelid. This morning she woke up and her whole eyelid is swollen up. She looks like someone punched her. Besides ice is there anything else we can do for it?

and now it is really infected...there is a huge red bump on the piercing which looks really bad...I took out the stud which only made it more noticeable but now it is unable to go back in...Any suggestions on what I should do to get rid of this bump...and what it is?

I mean, let's say I decide that from now on I'll eat, but I'll throw up everything after that. From my point of wiew it's not that bad. I mean, I still eat, but I just throw the food out after I eat it... And I'll be slim. A lot of people do that. Even celebritys do that. I know that after some time I could have some problems with my body, but are those problems that big?

Every year or so I develop knots on my scalp that itch and secrete oil and become crusty. Changing my shampoo last year corrected this, but it has started again.

I believe if you do good for others then in return good things will come to you and the same for doing bad things then in return you will have negative things happen. I'm kind of a "bigger girl" and it's really hot just now so I've been wearing skirts because it's much cooler than trousers. But my thighs rub together at the top, especially when it's hot and I'm a bit sweaty and it really hurts after a while.

What can I do to stop them rubbing so much? Besides losing weight obviously, which I'm trying to do just now anyway.

Please don't be nasty, I know I'm too fat.

My husband loves taking cold showers. I told him he's not getting clean unless the water is warm/hot. He tried to argue the fact that the soap is what cleans you, not the water. But I add that you wouldn't wash you dishes in cold water. Who's right. Do you really need warm/hot water with soap to get clean, or is cold water and soap ok.
