i work as a supermarket checkout operator. my job requires standing and serving customers for long hours. for the last 1 year, i have felt sometimes numbing and sometimes sharp pain on my low back. this pain has recurred over and over again. at times, when i bend and stretch my back, the pain subsides.
is there a permanent solution to this pain or is there any natural medication to stop this pain?
pls help

Okay, I have this friend that I only see at school and we chat at night. She is pretty chubby, and she had been absent to school for more than a month now. I am right now talking to her, and she just said that she is anorexic and that she will try suicide soon.

She says that she doesn't want to see a doctor, but I want to help her. How can I do this? Her parents don't even bother to ask her why she is not going to school, so her parents are not a option.

I am in Africa now, i already had following vaccinations: cholera, typhoid, yellow fever and meningities, to I also need to get hepatitis vaccine? The nurse told me that these vaccination that i took already can prevent it so no need to have the hepatitis vaccination, any advise?

I am considering caring for a disabled lady. I was told that I would work 5 days a week, 3 hours a day but she isn't sure about the pay. I live in California.. Does anyone know about this? Is mileage considered? I would clean, take care of her personal hygiene, etc. She is unable to do for herself.

I have 50 degrees curvature on my right upper back under my shoulder and i have 35 degrees on my left lower back right above my butt. I know a little bit b/c i go to a chiropractor, but he's not a specialist in scoliosis. I also have a slight hump on the 50 degree part but its not noticable unless i point it out. (thank god). I dont really want to get surgery and im getting regular chiropractic care. Will the hump get smaller b/c of the the chiro. or will it get bigger b/c of time? Im so confused. Im scared and i dont know what to think and im only 15 years old and i have back problems like an old lady! What will i do when i actually am an old lady? Please help me. I need info.

A couple of days ago I bought a Kenmore water dispenser from Sears. I purchased the 5 gallon water jug at Walmart and filled it with RO water from the store. After I got it hooked up at home, I filled a glass of water from it & the water tasted like the plastic the bottle is made from. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of that taste? The only thing I can think to do is keep running water thru it, but the taste is really strong & I don't think that will work. Any help would be great, cause I can't drink the water from the faucet; it's hooked up to a water softner system.
