I generally get what should be enough sleep, from 6-8 hours a night. But it doesn't really seem to matter how much sleep I get I still feel exhausted all day long. Is there anything that I can do to help getting more restful sleep?

The universe is being so devious as to even keep my questions from being seen. What the hell?
My questions don't show up, the mental-health insurance people won't do anything...I can't see a psychiatrist until they let me!

My father is gone all night and comes home drunk only to pass out. My best friend is consumed with her busy life.

I am a complete nobody and no one can hear me...not even the people on the internet. I'm probably just wasting my time posting this; the stupid system will mess it up again and no one will even get to read it.

I am thoroughly fed up. Done. Kaput. I quit.
Bye.

Once again, I found myself waking up and calling in to work with a splitting hangover and headache. To make matters worse, I am ashamed to say that I am also four months pregnant. I plan on going to an AA or NA meeting tomorrow and looking for another job.Can anyone relate to this? I am very depressed. I see a pschiatrist once a month but the sessions only last about 15 minutes. Any feedback would be grately appreciated.

Recently my best friend has gone through some very tough time in her life. She spent a lot of time locking herself in her room and doing absolutly nothing but feeling misrible for herself, listening to music, reading, and meditating. She told me that during her cry-my-eyes-out time she felt a presence of an Irish male. According to her she could not see him but she felt his presence very strongly, and when she felt alone and sad she felt his hand on her shoulder like he was trying to make her feel better. Also she said that at times she felt such a strong conections to this man she would cry becasue she felt like she needed to see him. If you know anything about such things, please tell me what I should tell my friend. Should I believe her and listen to such 'stories' or is she telling the truth? I do not wish to be disrespective or betraying toward my friend but I am afraid that is what she'll think when I suggest that she see a psycologyst.
~Thanks!

I cant make friends with these people. They like me and I Iike them and theyd be willing, but I just have too many mental problems. Ive been dealing with depression and social anxiety for a while and its worse than its ever been. I basically hate everything about myself, whether it makes any sense or not. I put so much on the approval of these people, and I can go from happy to depressed and completely hating myself like nothing. Like the other day I was at a party with them and they were talking and nice to me and it was almost euphoric but when they stopped talking to me so much, (just normal) I Igot right back into the worst depression. Im not balanced unless Im alone. And they dont need that. As people who are very graciously accepting an acquaintance they dont deserve to have to deal with that. Ill just end up hurting them.

I've been experiencing some really bad anxiety lately, and it is really affecting my life. Is there some kind of natural treatment/remedy/supplement for treating anxiety?

Any over-the-counter pill that you can take that will calm you?

I tried Kava Kava, but it did nothing for me.

I need something that will definitely work.

1. stick ur right arm straight out so its nice and tense

2. relax ur wrist, so it kind of flops down but not by much. keep your arm straight

3. now put your right arm, relxed wrist and all, and put it on your chest, in the middle, near your heart.

Generally I'm an outgoing person. But when I'm out in public and around people, I'm always tense. With other people, I can't even look them in the eye and be confident. I would automatically feel tensed and frown or jumble my words until they look at me mad. I think I won't live very long, I cant take it anymore, and need help!!!! Will hypnosis work? Anything?

The Democrats' hateful new imam

During last summer's Israel-Hezbollah war, al-Husainy led rallies in Dearborn in support of the Lebanese terrorist group. Protesters displayed swastikas as well as anti-American and anti-Semitic posters.

i started smoking 2 days ago, and i like it a lot, it makes me alert, i get really light headed, its awesome! But after doing this i usually become so sick, i actually make my self throw up to feel better! This poses a problem because I'm already under weight (15 years old/ 120lbs) and I'm on concerta which makes me not hungry. I don't know what to do through, i don't want to stop smoking, but i don't want to have to throw up after i do so. So what can i do to get over the sickness part?

Well, im more curious than anything. but can you have ADD or depression and it trigger SOMETHING. Can depression come along side with ADD/ADHD? im curious cause i just now thought about it. considering neither one runs in my family. i think i have ADD but im not sure, considering that i have no attention span almost, daydream most of my day, and i am so easily distracted, but i think there is something missing, when i get depressed im more distracted and i daydream more, like right now im pretty concerned if one mental issue can come with another, can this happen? or do i think too much?

I often find myself convincing myself of things that i know are not true. I am sure everyone has done this at one time or another, but it is starting to really stress me out (it would probably help if i explained the problem). I am afraid of my girlfriend being pregnant when i have never *finished* (for lack of a better word) inside of her.

Just because recently with her menstrual cycle she has been getting her periods further back in the month. Being a guy and not an expert on the menstrual cycle this has been weighing heavy on my mind because she has been complaining of cramps (and she is not on her period (yet)), but i have also read that this can be caused by if your menstrual cycle has been acting out of whack.

Anyone care to shed some light on this for me or give me some helpful hints for not having something that is impossible bother me as this is

bipolars when manic are known to act out, become overly promiscuous, and do things that are hard to understand from an outer perspective. a manic stage i read can last for about 4 months on average, however when they go back to a regular, or even depressive stage, do they usually regret their behavior or things that they have done when they were manic. if so, do they usually regret immediately after the fact of doing them, or will they only regret things once they are no longer manic?

well, we all know how vague diagnoses were on old movies and television. i truly wonder with what diagnoses contemporary mental health care professionals would give norman bates ? my old college roomie said schizophrenia was a catch all for mental illnesses, so i'm hoping that wouldn't be it.
